“Slow initial communication from the breaker's yard, Blackstone Breakers. Eventually confirmed that the part was what I needed after a few days. Bought it, and they then confirmed that they had damaged it in storage overnight, showing me a photo of a chipped edge, which was only cosmetic, with a £10 refund, so OK. Then delivered it with ludicrous terms that you have to open the parcel and decide whether or not you wish to reject it on the doorstep. Doesn't exactly seem legal as well. Given that mine was left on the step, not exactly practical (plus, have you ever met an Evri driver who had time to stay while you inspected car parts?) Turns out to be pretty much knackered and nearly as bad as the the part I was replacing. Can't be bothered to chase up £20 but I can be bothered to warn anyone off Blackstone.”
