Item collected ok and on time but was delivered badly damaged to the US. A special strong plywood box was made for transport- this was obviously dropped and badly damaged which also damaged the contents which was a model for a project in Colorado. I will now have to have it brought back to Ireland for repair and resend it to Coloradol.

I paid extra - €38 in total - for next-day delivery but it took another three working days for my parcel to arrive. I appreciate the difficulty of the Covid-19 restrictions but you should not be advertising a premium service - and charging for it - if you cannot deliver on it. I should have just paid the standard rate. As it was, I paid extra for a service that I didn't get. I looked for a refund and my request was ignored. Poor

Sold me a FedEx courier service, no receipt at store, pickup not scheduled properly had to deal with FedEx directly

Collection was great, which was a good start, however delivery in UK is unacceptable. They contacted recipient stating a delivery day and time, then changed time, then never showed up at the time stated. not even delivered on that day. They had stayed in to be there for that delivery, now parcel is at a post office where they have to go and collect it and take time off work to fit in with their opening hours. Very disappointing.

Sometimes drivers run out of time while on their routes which can cause delays, or in this case, they will drop it to one of their drop off stores so that it can be retrieved from there. It is meant to make things easier as they may not have been able to deliver this the next day if they did not drop this to the post office. If you would like to query anything, just get in touch. I placed my order for pickup on Friday and received notification thst my package would be collected Monday between 9am and 6:20pm. I called on Monday around noon and was told my package would be picked up by 5pm. No one came, I waited the whole day and no one came. The next morning I got a call from the driver asking where i lived, I had given my eircode when placing the order, but the driver was not given that information . My package was supposed to arrive in London the next day, didn't arrive until Thursday. All in all not great service. DHL is the only company that seem to be able to do this right.

We are very sorry about this, we do try to ensure that the courier collects on the day requested, however, our collections are not guaranteed as sometimes there is issues where the driver doesn't have enough time in the day to collect all of the parcels. The issue with the eircode is an issue that we are currently trying to fix, we have our technical team taking a look into this. We do apologize for the inconvenience caused. - easy to use website - the driver brings stickers, so no printing needed - brilliant online tracking; it is constantly updated - it looked like parcel would be delivered after 4 working days as promised, but for some unknown reason it went back to the sorting center where it is sitting for the last 3 days - no contact has been made yet, very disappointed, it started out so well

I am very disappointed with the service provided by Parcel Direct. They appear to utilise the ostrich approach by just ignoring problems. Customer service is so poor. I place an order fro delivery from Ireland to Canada. The parcel remained uncollected until I contacted them again. It took 7 days to get from Ireland to the UK. It arrived in Calgary on 22/12 and sat there until Christmas Eve. I had to arrange for the recipient to collect it in Calgary on 24/12 which was a 300 km round trip. The response I got from Customer support was a glib "its Customs Fault, not ours". When I pointed out the week it took to get to the UK and the Parcel was never opened by Customs anywhere, they simply ignored me and did not bother to respond. This is a new Company and if it expects to continue I would suggest that communications with customers is essential. I fully accept that delays can happen but lack of empathy or explanation is simply bad business. Own your failures and you will gain more respect !!

My parcel which was a gift of a picture was delivered today & the frame & glass were broken. I sent it by parcel direct via FedEx because I thought it would be treated with care & chose this rather than sending it by post. I am so disgusted and disappointed that my present was delivered in this state

I made a complaint months ago about a parcel that was returned to me from your French depo. It was to be delivered to my sister in law. She was was given wrong info and the parcel was never delivered. When she rang about the parcel she spent 30 mins talking to a very unhelpful man and got so annoyed when he hung up on her.The 2nd person she rang was more helpful but had no idea where the parcel was. She spent over €30 on calls. A few days later it arrived back to me. My sister said she has had problems before with your company in France. As I've used your company before and have found your staff helpful here in Ireland. I'm disappointed and my sister Inlaw was not happy as someone from your complaints department was to ring her. Months later and we are still waiting. Thank you.

Charged me twice for pick up from chad embassy in Brussels because small bit of address missing due to their poor website design despite the embassy number in it too It’s an embassy and the only chad embassy in Europe!!! Slow delivery too

One of my parcels was pretty badly damaged after it was lost and then located (electronic item sent for repair) the receiver did not point this out to me and I only found out when I got the item back from repair complete with damage. Not sure if I am more annoyed with the carrier who, seriously must have dropped the item from quite height to do this damage, or the repair company who did not inform me of the damage (I had the item insured with parcel direct)

I needed documents sent to Spain urgent and I rang the office in cork TWICE to confirm that documents I sent on Tuesday would be in Spain Wednesday . The documents were collected Tuesday am and will not arrive until Thursday. I chose parcel direct because the comparison looked cost favourable and after ringing TWICE before I placed my order with FedEx I was assured that my documents would arrive the next day. It was sooo dissapoiting to learn that my documents would not arrive as expected.

Found Parcel direct service itself very good and very helpful when I had problems however the delivery itself was very poor. On both occasions I ordered an overnight service first on Monday -this was not collected until Thursday and then delivered the following Monday. And on the second occasion service took two days, collected Monday delivered Wednesday. Not what was advertised/paid for. I do think I should have received some sort of credit. As one week delivery for a 24 hour booking isnt really acceptable. That said, very friendly point of contact in Dublin.
