I am very disappointed with the service provided by Parcel Direct. They appear to utilise the ostrich approach by just ignoring problems. Customer service is so poor. I place an order fro delivery from Ireland to Canada. The parcel remained uncollected until I contacted them again. It took 7 days to get from Ireland to the UK. It arrived in Calgary on 22/12 and sat there until Christmas Eve. I had to arrange for the recipient to collect it in Calgary on 24/12 which was a 300 km round trip. The response I got from Customer support was a glib "its Customs Fault, not ours". When I pointed out the week it took to get to the UK and the Parcel was never opened by Customs anywhere, they simply ignored me and did not bother to respond. This is a new Company and if it expects to continue I would suggest that communications with customers is essential. I fully accept that delays can happen but lack of empathy or explanation is simply bad business. Own your failures and you will gain more respect !!
