This was the worse service from a courier i ever experienced i paid for same day delivery and drove across dublin to have the package in pick up point before 9 the package arrived 50 hours later Dublin - Kilkenny

Order ID: PD1561783 I booked and paid Parce Direct to collect three parcels from Drillvent Whites Cross Starinagh on, Tuesday 25/11/25. They told me that they would be collected the next day "Wednesday" between 9.30am and 5.30pm. I waited in all day so as not to miss the courier. They did not call to the house and they did not ring me. I phoned the next day to see what happned. I spoke to a man who said that the courier called at 4.30 and got no reply. He said that they would be collected that day Wednesday, no body called. As a result i had to pay another courier to make the delivery. I would like a refund ASAP. Total e58.49

Booked and paid for 2 parcels for collection and delivery. Now a week later and 10 phone calls deep but still no sign of collection. AVOID AT ALL COST

The delivery time indicated on the website does not correspond to the actual deliveries, there is a large gap between the advertised delivery time and the actual delivery.

I paid for express delivery within Ireland, which Parcel Direct guarantees, but my parcel took 6 working days to arrive. I appreciated one employee who was helpful in getting the item collected, which took about 3 to 4 days. However, beyond that their customer service was terrible. They ignored all my emails and most of my calls. One call was answered with a promise to investigate — still no response. Another call was hung up immediately. All my voicemails were ignored. After no resolution, I had to request a full chargeback through my bank because I didn’t get the service I paid for.

As a business ourselves unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this company. I sent a parcel to England and it was held up in customs. Not their fault; however no one contacted us to let us know it was stuck there even though the tracking says they were supposed to have reached out to us. Contacted them via their form, no response, called them numerous times said they would follow up never heard back any time. When booking it says delivery in a few days. 3 week later I finally have it sorted with no help or follow up from them. Very disappointing customer service.

I chose the option to leave my package at a drop off where they were to collect it and I was called a couple days later to say they don’t work with your company. The address you gave me so I want a refund or you collect the parcel from my address

Terrible experience – service not delivered and no refund I had a terrible experience with Parcel.ie. I paid in advance for a delivery from Dublin to Brazil. The delivery was crucial for me – I had just undergone a C-section and was traveling alone with a newborn baby. I couldn't carry the luggage myself, so I trusted this company to help. Not only was the service never fulfilled, but I was also left without my clothes and my baby's belongings, and I have been waiting for weeks for a refund that was promised but never delivered. I paid extra for delivery notifications and handling, but they never even rang the doorbell or contacted the recipient. I’ve sent multiple emails, and the only answers I received were vague and dismissive. Their customer service is unprofessional and unresponsive. This company is unreliable, irresponsible, and should not be trusted. I will be reporting them to: * CCPC – Ireland’s Consumer Protection agency * ECC Ireland – EU consumer dispute resolution * Small Claims Court – For legal action * Public platforms like Trustpilot, Reddit, Boards.ie, and Google Reviews If you care about your items or peace of mind, DO NOT USE Parcel.ie.

I watched the driver throw my package out his window and I have it recorded on camera. What a terrible service. Complete and utter laziness. Package was soaking wet!

My parcel was collected on the 8th of May and scheduled for delivery on the 9th. As of today, it still has not been delivered, and I have received no updates or explanation from the company. I’ve made numerous phone calls, only to be told repeatedly that the parcel is lost and a case would be opened to investigate — yet no one has followed up. This level of service is completely unacceptable. My client has been left without a vital machine, causing her to lose business, which reflects poorly on both of us. Communication has been virtually non-existent, and I’ve had to chase for information at every step. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has caused significant disruption. I expect better from a professional delivery service.

Disappointed with “Overnight” Service – Not Delivered as Promised I’m very disappointed with my recent experience using ParcelDirect.ie. I paid €19.19 for overnight courier service, expecting quick delivery as promised. My parcel was picked up on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 11:54 A.M., but today is Wednesday, and we’ve only now been told to expect delivery sometime between 3 and 6 PM. This delay defeats the entire purpose of paying for an overnight service. The standard delivery cost was only around €8.99, so I paid a significant premium expecting reliable next-day delivery. Unfortunately, the service did not deliver as advertised. This experience has left me frustrated and unlikely to use ParcelDirect again. Charging customers for a premium service without fulfilling the basic promise is unacceptable. I hope the company takes this feedback seriously and reviews how it handles express service commitments.
