Parcel was not collected. After i cancelled the order, the courier arrived. When i requested refund i was advised it would take up to 15 working days, fair enough. After this time had passed i had to follow up on a number of occasions to get my refund. I am aware that couriers are under a lot of pressure at present but everything about this interaction including the phone conversations were very poor.

I sent parcel with parcel direct to Manchester since 27/01 until today not arrived and parcel direct doesn't care about my delivery

Unprofessional, unreliable. 3 days waiting for parcel to be collected. 7 days later the parcel arrived at its destination (80km away) goods were spoilt and had to be thrown away. When I complained I was told I should ve read the terms and conditions

Collected a parcel on Jan 11th to go to UK. Feb 9th still not delivered. Seem to have no more information than the tracker.

The worst courier service I have ever used. Booked in early Monday to get next day delivery. That didn't happen. Finally got picked up on Friday and instead of being delivered Monday like I was told it got delivered Tuesday. I have worked with couriers for 15 years and this GLS is by far the worst. My friends, family and company will never use this site or courier ever again.

I am verry disappointed. I paid for servise and my parcel wich i had to send to buyer within 4 days never was collected so i had to send it with onother currier company. I called office seven times asking for updates on my order but i got only one answere: "we will call you when we will have news" but no one called back. I just wanted to say big thank you to parceldirect office staff in ireland for wasting my time.

First time using. Parcel was supposed to be picked up before 17:30. Still no pick up. No notification to say it wouldn't be picked up today. Should have continued using An Post.

On 22nd of Dec I paid for my parcel to be delivered to family in Donegal the estimated delivery date being 24th of December Numerous emails and phone calls later today on the 18th of January my parcel still sits in my hall I am totally frustrated with the parcel direct service and GLS which is company that was supposed to be collecting the parcel I have given them every opportunity to resolve the situation before I posted this My message being beware Parcel Direct in my experience hasn't fulfilled its obligation to deliver my parcel Customer service was very poor My advice is don't take a chance as in my experience they provide a terrible service I have cancelled my delivery today as I just couldn't wait any longer

Don't waste your time! I booked a package for collection on Friday evening, due for pickup on Monday (between 09.00 - 17.30) and no one showed up. On Wednesday morning (5 phone calls later) the package was still sitting in my hallway. Terrible customer service - they promised twice to ring back to follow up and did not. I had to chase them. Will never use again - wouldn't recommend to anyone. I think the reviews on here that are 5 star are put up by friends or family as it's too suspicious that they are all 'Excellent' after my truthful review!

Booked on 24/12, pick up scheduled for 29/12, item only picked up on 7/1 - if you need to send something quickly, just go direct with DHL

On 18 December 2020 I booked with ParcelDirect for a collection of a parcel from Rathcoole, South Co Dublin, for delivery in Belfast. I was advised that the parcel would be collected by GLS Couriers between 09.00 and 17.00 on Monday, 21st, for delivery in Belfast on 22nd. I thought it was extraordinary that this service was not available over the weekend before the Christmas holiday, surely one of the busiest time of the year. The parcel was NOT collected on 21st. I contacted ParcelDirect (Ruth) by e-mail four times, a) at 17.30 on 21st to which I got a reply at 09.07 on 22nd assuring me that the parcel would be collected 'they (GLS) will have a driver out there asap today to collect this parcel'! b) I acknowledges this reply at 09.45 on 22nd; c) I sent another e-mail at 15.00 on 22nd, as the parcel had not yet been collected. I got a reply at 15.46 from Ruth saying 'I would expect someone to be with you by 6pm'. As the parcel was NOT collected on 22nd, I cancelled the order at 09.07 on 23rd, requesting a refund of the €19.94 charge and I contacted another courier service (DPD). The parcel was collected by their driver at 15.00 on 23rd and was with my family in Belfast at 12.00 on 24 December. An excellent service, unlike the ParcelDirect/GLS offer. I would never use this parcel company again. I had so much trouble getting mine delivered. It was delivered 11 days late even though I paid Express. No response from the company on relation to this either.

My booking for collection was scheduled on 29/12/20 from 9-5.30 pm . today is the 2/01/21 and no one has contacted me or picked up the parcel . Still waiting

Had a parcel that should have been collected 2 days ago. No sign of courier or any further communication from them or parceldirect. I have sent messages to both and my phone calls go unanswered. Dreadful service. Avoid!!
