What a shower of liars, tracking details show gls picked up then drove around for a three days and returned the parcel, when in actual fact no one turned up to collect it. No response to website contact, no response to emails and phone constantly ringing engaged.

so sorry guys: but you just failed me: my team lost a full working day as you didn't collect the item! No communication from you. When I rang your team was very friendly but could not give a collection time, and in the end someone wasted 9 hours waiting for your driver, my team at the reception address could not continue work as the parcel never was collected and sent. So very poor show: won't use again or recommend. There is a difference between cost effective and cheap.

sent a small package on the 14th by "courier" as I needed it to be delivered the next day, parcel was eventually delivered on the 20th, absolute joke next time ill go the reliable route AN POST.

Order number 22895061484 my parcel was delivered timely but broken. I had marked it fragile all over in several spots of the packaging.I rang the company before collection to say it was fragile and would it be treated as such I was told it would. I am gutted I was unable to upload picture I would like refund of postage

Booked and paid for my pkg two days ago on the 6th Oct and still waiting to have it collected from my house. Called Cust. Svc. This afternoon 08 0ct and I was assured that driver would be here shortly. It' now after 6pm and still no driver to collect. Called again on 09 Oct again reassured that pkg would be collected, it did not happen. Called again on Monday 12Oct AM told I would get a call back and that didnt happen. I made another call later on Monday, again no call back. At 7pm on Monday night 12 Oct, package was finally collected. I would consider this company "WORSE THAN USELESS" and downright rude for at the very least not having the decency to call and advise me if they were having difficulties. Not one bit impressed. I'm sorry to have given them a 1 rating on a scale of 1 to 5 because if ZERO was an option that's what they would get.

Awful service, parcel was never collected, when I checked the tracking number the parcel had been cancelled by the courier company, no reason given and no attempt made to contact me the customer!!!!!

No tracking detail available online and the parcel hasn’t arrived after 7 days. Delivery was estimated in 4-5 days.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Shockingly incompetent, useless service. I booked and paid for a collection from Dublin for 31/8. It is now 4/9 - the day it should have arrived in Madrid - and it's only just now been been collected! And only because I gave up and contacted the courier directly. I contacted ParcelDirect every day to find out what was going on. The most they could tell me was the carrier was not answering their phone. At no point was I given any actual information or explanation, just apologies and assurances that they would contact the carrier and get back to me asap. This never happened. I had to keep chasing them up myself. After four days of getting nowhere, still in the exact same position as I was when I first contacted ParcelDirect, I contacted the handler directly. I got through straight away (despite ParcelDirect telling me they weren't answering their phones). The carrier apologised, promised me it would be collected asap. And it was. I got more satisfaction in a 4-min call with the carrier than in four days of useless emails, phonecalls and wasted time with ParcelDirect. Which begs the question: what did I pay money to ParcelDirect for? I won't be making that mistake again. Absolutely atrocious.

Was most disappointed with service. Package was due for collection on 27th and no collection. Rang at 9am on 28th and was told by an extremely polite Parcel Direct employee that they would check it out and call me back. No call back from Parcel Direct. Eventually called courier company again extremely polite employee said that system was updated to say driver didn't have time to collect package, however the customer was NOT informed of this. This employee said she would check with driver approx time he would do collection. Approx 12 noon driver rang to say it would be late evening before he had opportunity to do collection but would I phone him back at 5 o'clock to confirm collection. I couldn't believe it. No apology for no collection previous day and now I gave to call driver. Customer service non existent. Most disappointed and angry. Package was eventually collected at 7 p.m, more than 24 hours late.

This was first and last time I will ever use this company. I made and order yesterday. The confirmation email said the collection will be between 9-5.30pm today. I called the company and was informed the collection will be between 3-6pm today. It's 6.20pm and still no one shows up. But money was taken upfront. All day wasted for waiting. And if you want to cancel you have to do it up to 6hrs before the collection day and pay €15 cancellation fee for order worth less than €10. Ridiculous. Not recommended!

UPS were due to collect my package 06/08/2020 and collected it 6 days late. I also paid for the express service. It was the first time to use either ParcelDirect or UPS and I am very unhappy. Using the ParcelDirect.ie website to arrange collection for outgoing package was quick and easy and there was no issue with ParcelDirect.ie however once it got to UPS to do there part there not nothing but issues. They dont care about customer service at all.

Arranged for collection on a Tuesday, no show from courier and no contact made. I contacted you and was informed it would be on Thursday, same thing happened. It's now Friday and still nothing. Will be cancelling now.

Extremely dad service. Parcel not collected and no phone call email or any communication made to inform me. Truly bad service from and pretty poor company who need to get their act together and provide a service as they that they advertise. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone or will never use again. Don't even deserve a rating.

So far my experience with Parcel Direct has been dreadful. The parcel deposit point wouldn’t take the parcel as it is no longer part of the scheme. They directed me to a Spar shop which does apparently take parcels but wouldn’t take mine. It didn’t have a barcode ! The instructions I got from PDirect were that “ Driver brings barcoded label” There was no barcode on advice sheet, just a “drop off code” I have emailed PD for advice but have not heard from them. They don’t take phone calls at a weekend. The parcel is paid for and is to be collected on Monday - but the collection points won’t take it. This is a business that purports to work seamlessly but can’t even updates its web information, nor have someone available to contact on a Saturday. No recommendations here.
