“Healthy tree . I w pleased with the delivery although the label was missing . But over all the driver helped my husband with the tree as he is in his eighties and was very kind and polite .”

“Product 90 litre potted tree. Lovely tree as described. No warning of delivery date. Lucky we was at home. Tree dumped on the outskirts of my property. I emailed day after I placed order to ask if I was able to add to my delivery as paid £60 delivery fee and hought I would benefit by adding additional plants, I didn't get a response. I felt like my business was not important.”

“Plant was larger than I expected and I was impressed with the packaging but sadly it does not look a very healthy specimen. It looked very dry, almost all the leaves had either fallen off or were badly discoloured. I have allowed that this could be because of the time of year (February) I followed recommended procedure for planting and I am hoping my plant will recover in due time. So far it looks a sorry specimen.”

“The service was OK but there are a couple of things that annoyed me; firstly it is really difficult to get through on the phone so something that a quick conversation would sort out is much harder to decide or resolve than it could be. Secondly the plants delivered were generally fine but a couple were substandard; the magnolia you replaced. Five of the six pleached Holm Oak were fine but the sixth was very lopsided. I decided not to request a replacement basically because of the hassle factor.”

“Unlike Thompson and Morgan the plants arrived at the size I expected and was advertised and were in good condition so no complaints there. The saddest thing about buying from Paramount is not the firm and the plants but the fact that they are grown abroad in Europe. If only British growers would do the same! As for paramount minor gripe from ordering to delivery takes far too long especially when you are doing a garden planting scheme. However, if they are buying from Europe and you are waiting for shipment no wonder it takes such a long time. All in all reasonably happy with paramount but maybe not with me for having to buy from them. Come on British growers!”

“There was an issue with one of the 6 shrubs I ordered. Its shape was unattractive and not what was shown in the photo. The cornus was growing at a 45 degree angle instead of straight. I feel this should have been spotted at the depot before delivery and a straight substitute delivered instead. Paramount has agreed to replace it with a straight one but there will be a delay before it is delivered. Other aspects of my experience were good.”

“Trees are good but delivery awful. The driver turned up nearly an hour earlier than the 4 hour window I was given and dumped all the trees outside my gate, completely blocking it and leaving me unable to open it or even get my car out. I had to climb out and the trees were far too heavy for me to move at all.”

“I ordered 4 trees on the 9 th of November 2020. They arrived on the 2 December. 1) Liquidamber Styraciflua deciduous delivered bare root. This had a net around the roots. 2) carpinus betulus fastigiata delivered bare root no earth or covering on roots looked a bit battered and felt light when picked up. 3) Parrotia Persia looked a bit battered no evident branches on stem. 4) sentinel crab apple. Supplied looking very healthy and in good condition. Only one out of the three trees looked in good condition. I fully understand that these are all deciduous trees and therefore would not have been looking their best at this time of year. All instructions on care and planting have been followed apron receipt of plants. They were watered on delivery and planted the next day. I hope that all will survive and spring into life next year. The delivery driver was very pleasant and helpful.”

“Easy ordering and efficient packing and delivery. Surprised that there were five tall watersprouts which is slightly worrying as it often means that the plant has been over-stressed.”

“Great service. Well boxed. However the box wasn't tall enough casing bending and mishaping onnthe tips of the plant. Hoping it will come right on its own. But disappointing.”

“It look a long long time for the plants to arrive. However they have arrived . They were bought for screening purpose. They are splayed on a crude flimsy structure . I was expecting a nicer screening plant . The plant itself is fine .”

“Ordering process was easy. Delivery was prompt. Height of trees was accurate but foliage was a lot less bushy than expected. Slightly disappointed - for the price I was expecting much more established trees”
