Horrific!!! Very very bad quality. Could hardly see the duck and the watermelon was faint and streaked. Would not provide a refund. Bad customer service. Spent $117 to throw it away.

Really disappointed and would not recommend! Substandard printing, paper and arrived damaged! The photo book I ordered arrived damp and so all of the inner pages were slightly wrinkled. The paper was very thin making it feel quite cheap and easily creased and absorbed the colours so the pictures had lost impact. I asked for a new photo book that wasn’t damp and on better paper and all they did was offer me 10% off future purchases - useless!

Nothing but disappointment - spent hours collating images and laying out a design for my mum's 70th birthday Album. Digital proof approved prior to ordering was perfect and we were initially super excited that it arrived a day earlier than expected, only to be heartbroken when unpackaging it to find over 3/4 of the pages printed with images completely distorted, placed around the wrong way, even upside down INCUDING THE FRONT COVER! Frustratingly, there was no contact phone number to be able to call and speak to someone about this, so I had to wait to be contacted via email the following day (given time difference between customer service in UK and me having order in Australia). Apparently the error was found to be on the end of their image host, and they were unable to "fix" it and reprint. They were also unable to tell me how long this mysterious file host error may take to be fixed so BEWARE....your finished product has the potential to arrive just like ours - embarrassingly incorrect. Any basic form of quality control checking would have instantly recognised the mistakes...the front cover image very obviously sideways! Images upside down and sideways throughout and not at all resembling the digital proof I approved. But this is clearly not a process implemented by the company, or else the error would have been picked up prior to the product being sent to me. Yes, I was refunded in full however now I'm needing to find an alternative company and completely re-do the project, and am left with nothing but a very sour experience and a mum who was overwhelmed with the sentiment of our gesture but clearly heartbroken - for both herself and us - by the quality and the fact we were having to completely re-do it all again. Papier weren't willing to compensate us for the cost of having to re-print elsewhere either. Save your time and go elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

Of course in this instance we were able to offer a full refund straight away as we were unable to resolve the issue with the image host and did not want to risk another photo book printing with the same errors again as we appreciate this is for a very special occasion. I LOVE those notebooks, unfortunately, I was not able to order them. I spent an hour putting together my order until I noticed at checkout papier only delivers to a few countries. I think that's extremely uncommon nowadays and you should be informed about that issue earlier on. It was such a waste of time. They even sent emails ala "hey, complete your order now". Extra salty :S

I received my planner yesterday. It did take awhile, but that's understandable due to the customization. It's beautiful, although the paper quality isn't as thick as I was expecting for the cost. What I wish was disclosed on the product page is that nothing is in order. If I write out my to-dos and goals and important dates for January, I don't want to flip through the remaining 11 months to get to the actual planner (week view). It would make way more sense to group everything together by month so you can start each month listing out the dates & goals, and then go into next month with those in mind as you get through your weeks. Instead you have to flip around. I took a chance on this planner and I am already regretting it. I have no clue if it's returnable because it's monogrammed.

Thank you for your message, I’m so sorry to hear you don’t like the setup of the 2022 diary! Our 2021 diary did have the monthly to dos and goals grouped with the month, however this led to some dates being replicated as the to dos and goals split the months unevenly. We made the decision to revert back to our original layout (where the monthly goals and to do's are grouped together at the start of the diary and no dates are replicated) for our 2022 Diaries as we received a high volume of feedback from people who preferred this layout. Very very VERY disappointed. I thought this would be a quality product. I bought a 2022 planner- nice design outside but the paper quality inside is extremely disappointing! I have a fountain pen that I use everyday for personal use including my yearly planner and it bled through to the next page! (which isn’t a blank page after each month- it is the next month!) Sooo I even used a regular ink pen nothing fancy nothing thick and it NEARLY bleeds through so regardless of what pen I use it copies over and makes a mess for the following month. I think there should be a disclaimer to use PENCIL ONLY! POOR POOR POOR QUALITY FOR AN EXPENSIVE PRODUCT! (My previous planner was from Target and the paper was much thicker, and never bled through)

I ordered a planner from Papier to be delivered to the states. Shipping took a while, which I expected. When the package arrived late, I opened it to find that the contents of the journal were upside down and backwards. My husband, a book maker, was able to fix the journal, but I asked for a refund. The company could only make a 25% refund or 25% off my next purchase, but they offered to send a new journal. How is a company able to send a replacement but not a full refund? The email communication went on for an entire week with no real solutions made. So we spent money to fix a product that was wrong, and no money was sent to fix it.

In regards to the book, if you were happy to keep the journal, we would of course be happy to issue a partial refund to compensate for the issues here, or a replacement to be sent t receive a corrected product, so the incorrect item could be recycled. The pens are horrendous. They look good and have a good weight on them. However, it’s very scratchy to write with and the ink does not flow well at all. Really disappointed

Disappointed and dissatisfied! The journal I ordered was not what should be expected. Soft cover journal does not close and props open at all times. Pages of the journal require strength and weight to stay open, while writing. Journal writing should be stress free, not stressful. Customer service was no help!

Disappointed with the quality of printing and paper used in the minimalist books. We placed a large order and the photos appear grainy on the pages. We are also missing half our order even though we paid for fast delivery. Wouldn’t recommend.

I feel really disappointed of the papier product that I've received. I spent $45 for a customized notebook by gold-foiled but it turned out as a silver-foiled notebook. I contacted the customer service and could not understand what they said.

I was so excited about ordering such a cute planner. Unfortunately I was sent a damaged planner. The post office did not damage the planner since Papier packed and presented it so well. Also I had my name added to the cover and you can’t even and you can barely see it. The writing is so small.

As the title is as wide and the text box, part of the left side is lost in the crease of the spine, which exaggerates the centralisation of the title. I ordered the Papier pen and was incredibly disappointed when it arrived as the ink flow was really inconsistent making for a very frustrating experience. I contacted the customer service team and provided examples however I was told that the pen was not faulty and that sending a replacement would not yield a different result. They informed me that I was welcome to return the product for a refund but that I was have to cover the postage costs. This pen falls well below the standard expected especially considering the price and according to Papier themselves, it wasn’t a “fault” with my pen but a flaw in the pens design.

Quality of the planners is disappointing. Looks much cheaper in person. Paper is super thin, so much so that when you open the planner you can literally see the outline of the next page. Not very practical. I got this item personalised as a Christmas gift but it was no way near the quality I was expecting for the price. While I am happy I was able to return it for a refund, the customer service team refused to reimburse me for the return shipping costs. I'm out £9 for the pleasure of returning a gift that wasn't fit for purpose. Wouldn't recommend.

Having used papier for photo books in the past, I used it to make a photo album for my dad’s upcoming 70th. The album arrived with about 20% of the photos rotated and stretched. When I reached out to customer support to have the issue resolved, they told me it was an external problem out of their control and only offered me a refund not a solution. I went back to them a few times trying to suggest another resolution i.e. if someone could fix it manually for me, if they could help me find another printer so I wouldn’t have to start from scratch. There was absolutely no customer support in this regard - it was like talking to a brick wall. I had spent roughly 10 hours preparing the photo book. I’ve since had to use another company to prepare a replacement, spending a significant amount of time to do so. I found this experience very disappointing, and won’t be using this company again. I’m still seeking a refund.

I ordered a card with a photo on it. The photograph was the right way up in my order, and set to scale. When the card arrived the photograph had been turned 90 degrees and stretched - it looks terrible. I will be seeking a refund.

Ordered photo cards as thank you notes for our wedding - they printed quite light, grainy and low quality. They look like something I printed on my printer at home and the ink on the inside of the card is smudged across the whole inside. I reached out to customer service and they offered a 30% discount or to reprint them. I don't want them reprinted- I already had to order something else from another company as there are time constraints to get thank you notes out, especially since we had a very small wedding. Wouldn't order from here again.
