“I buy whole bean coffee. The beans Pact offer are high quality and this translates into the coffee brewed. The choice is wide and the site easy to use. Delivery service is very good. Loses a star for high price.”

Hi Paul, we're thrilled to hear that you're loving the coffee and our service! The higher cost of our coffee comes from the higher price that we pay to all of our growers for their coffee, along with the higher quality speciality grade of beans on the menu and the First Class P&P on your orders. Of course it could be lower but we would never want to compromise on the wages paid to the hard-working coffee growers at origin. “Great coffee! Always delivered on time, vacuum sealed for freshness, with loads of variety so that every week is a new cup! Only downside is that I can't go back to a coffee that I really liked. Each week is luck of the draw, which is a shame because some of these brews have really knocked my socks off!”

“Nice and easy set up and love when s new bag arrives- would be nice if they did alternate or allowed you to pick which one you would like each time without having to alter the whole order”

“Love the coffee. Mostly any other coffee I drink seems like a poor substitute. The option to skip or rush an order through means I can avoid running out or having coffee which isn’t s fresh as i’m now spoilt by being accustomed to.”

“Excellent coffee from growers that deserve custom rather than conglomerates. The package fits perfectly through the letterbox each month and the beans grind well. One star down as I think it could be a tad cheaper.”

“Coffee is excellent, but in five months of membership, I have been sent the same coffee 3 out of 5 times. That's a bit disappointing!”

Hi Eldon, we hope you’re loving the coffee and our service! We’re sorry to hear that you have received the same coffee several times! The coffee picker is automated and although we hope you get different coffees each time, you are able to manually change the coffee via your account. An email will go out two days prior to every delivery informing you of the coffee being dispatched, so you can get in there and make any final amendments to make sure you'll be getting a coffee you will enjoy. “I love high quality coffee and buy whole bean only to grind at home. Pact is doing a great job in terms of their ethics, sourcing it directly from farmers to bring it to consumers, and paying above fair trade price to growers. I would like to see more organic coffee offered by Pact, more African coffees (Ethiopian light roasted coffee with their blueberry notes is by far the best thing I’ve ever tried) and more variety in general. That said, their customer service is great and the shipping is super fast!”

We're always looking to expand our Direct Trade origins, so we hope you'll be as thrilled as we are to hear that Kenya has just joined our range as our eighth Direct Trade origin. The coffee we get on the menu each year depends on certain factors such as harvest and cost which is why some years we'll see more coffees from Ethiopia and Rwanda than others, but we hope this helps to expand the range in the right direction for your tastes! “I like most of the coffee being sent, although I can't complain as it's good to try different styles. I've had to reduce my order interval and found this simple to do. Sometimes I work at home and sometimes I'm away so it's good to change the interval or delay the order until I'm ready.”

“Pact always deliver on time, their coffee is without a doubt better than anything store bought, and they have a very ethical business model. I would love to see Pact develop their tea offering more, and if a tea subscription was on offer I would happily sign up for it.”

“Lovely coffee, a real difference to most of the beans that we get. Perhaps it’s the lighter than usual roasts, but still packed with flavours that are noticeably different from blend to blend. I have a pack a month and at that frequency it’s worth paying that bit extra for occasionally, and I like the fact that I can postpone an order if I need to.”
