“I ordered a wormery and duly received the bin, lid, and tap, but no drainage tray. The bin etc arrived in timely fashion but 2 weeks on I am still waiting for the drainage tray! I have been told subsequently that the original offer that I accepted did NOT include the drainage tray!! That was NOT clear in the advert! And why would you order a product without a vital component?? Poor marketing! A positive has been that email communication with Daniel Baker has been good.”

Hi Richard, Apologies to hear what's happened and for the confusion. I've just checked your order and it does include a drainage tray. The drainage tray is placed inside the lid during delivery and is often missed by customers so please check there. If it's not, please contact us immediately and we'll get a replacement sent out. “I am extremely disappointed with my new Original Organics wormery. I’m experienced with wormeries, having had one for over 12 years, and which still performs well. I was concerned that the new one does not have air holes in the lid, but followed the instructions nevertheless. Sadly, within one week, there was a horrible stench from the unit. On opening it, the sump was full of dead worms in decomposing fluid. I cleaned it out thoroughly (and was devastated that the worms had died). The wormery was in my garage. I ordered new worms locally, re-started the wormery and checked it 5 days later. Sadly, the sump had again started to fill with 5 or 6 dead worms, which were in a foul smelling, bloody liquid. Other worms were still working in the waste food, so I cleaned it out, emptied it out again, and put the remaining worms into my old wormery, Your wormery is now empty and, I’m afraid to say, will remain that way. I can’t see how such a sealed unit, with no air holes, can be effective, and I will not alliw any further poor worms to suffer and die.”
