“Great and easy to use website , sadly the product was smashed when it got to me and I had to go into store to sort it out (defeating the object of the online purchase and delivery I paid !)”

“Firstly, skirt and top that I bought are gorgeous, well made and very flattering. The lady that served me the Hitchin store was friendly, helpful and professional. Unfortunately, having ordered the right size for collection at store, everything went a little wrong. The skirt didn't turn up. I rang customers service and the first person I spoke to was very unhelpful and claimed she couldn't tell what was going on at her end (odd). I rang the store and they couldn't help either. I waited a couple of days and rang customer services again, this time the prison I spoke to was helpful and said he would look into it and get back to me. He offered to reorder and send by next day delivery, free of charge, to my home address. He also informed me that the store were at fault. I received an email from customer service the following day, from a different person, saying as it had been so long they had sent another one to the store (not what was agreed). I then started getting emails saying thank you for collecting my parcel, again i was informed that the staff in store had made mistakes. Eventually, nearly a week later I was informed that it was ready to be collected. I went down there and a member of staff went to get it - she then stood staring a a screen for several minutes and then beckoned another member of staff. I asked if there was a problem - she abruptly told me she was entering the code (she clearly had no idea what she was doing). More waiting. Eventually I said, as I had waited for nearly a month for the skirt and had a little girl with special needs with me, please could I just have the parcel and go. I also said I was surprised that nobody in the store had apologised for their mistakes. Two of the ladies looked at each other and smirked. Needless to say, I will not be going into the Hitchin branch again.”

“Nice service, happy with my product but the music in the shop was too loud that I couldn't wait to get out! I wrote feedback about it to the store but received no reply. I was told that the music was at a set volume by management.”

“Beautiful bag and good price (especially with NHS discount!). However, it is too small for what I need it for. Was advertised as suitable to carry a laptop, which, to be fair, it is. But it is only suitable if that's the only thing you want to carry. As soon as I put in other things, the zip broke. It was fixable, so I can still use it, but I don't trust the zip anymore (this happened maybe two weeks after purchasing it as well!!), especially when it is raining. I don't think this is really a suitable laptop bag. Especially when I'm cycling to work and it's raining, I'm really worried about my laptop because of the broken zip. I was really looking forward to carrying a smart-looking bagpack but now I feel that I always have to bring an extra additional bag for my bits and bops. Will keep looking for an alternative if I'm really honest with you. Can recommend if you only plan to carry very few light objects. The front pockets and the back pocket are lovely.”

“I was surprised how long it took for my purchase to arrive in my local store. I got 2 emails from Oliver Bonas and assumed the second one was telling me it was in store. I set off into town to be disappointed. The very next day I got an email saying it was available for pickup. I might guess it was already there, just not unpacked”

“Experience in store was great. Staff member went out of her way to find the sizes I needed and get other stuff delivered to my home. Purchasing online was also fine. Only feedback is that on check out you can’t choose to collect your order from a local collection point (only a store). However if you order to your home, the courier send a link confirming delivery date and allows you to choose a local collection point if you’re not home. Would be useful to have this option clear at purchase because I reorganised my day to be home to receive the package.”

“Packaging and purchase experience were great. Only downside is I paid extra for Saturday delivery as I was away and wanted to make sure the parcel arrived safely as it’s glass. The item was sent via next day delivery and arrived at the beginning of the week but fortunately a neighbour kept it safe for me.”
