“Very disappointed with the surprise box which just contained 2 calendars and some pens. Bought for my 8year old nephew as he loves stationery.”

“The item is (was) a present. The address label stuck on the box is very difficult to remove. It leaves it looking messy. Decided not to give this as a present and will buy something else from somewhere else. Will not be buying from you again for this reason. Why can’t you use easily removed labels, I know they exist.”

“The parcel was unsealed when I collected it from a local parcel pick-up point. They confirmed it had been unsealed on delivery to them. The contents all appear to be present (difficult to know as one item had "mystery" contents, so I'm unsure if anything could be missing). Like the items very much, disappointed with the service.”

“Ohh deer, thats what I thought when I opened my mystery cards....they are were all designed for the lockdown. what use are they to me. The mystery tote was an equal disapointment, all mismatched and naff unsold leftovers. I feel ripped off. would I recommend the mystery boxes no way, no worth at all”

“I have ordered multiple times from Ohh Dear before and everything has always been good and as expected. Unfortunately 2 of my items have arrived broken/damaged, both were intended as gifts which I now cannot give. I believe this is due to insufficient packaging as both items were fragile. There was nothing packed with them for protection. I now have 2 unusable items which I spent quite a bit on. I look forward to hearing how this will be resolved.”

“I love your cards but my most recent purchase, an anniversary card for my wife, involved her being shown an advertisement specifically for the exact card that I bought only an hour or two afterwards. I appreciate that it's not your fault directly, but this should really be addressed with your advertisers. The surprise was completely spoiled and it has put me off buying from Ooh Deer again.”

We would advise that you clear your cache and turn off cookies, which will stop retargeting ads for any company you have visited or ordered from appearing for you. “Sohhh Disappointed - Firstly to be clear I love Ohh Deer but I have just purchased the 50 cards value packs and was really disappointed as so many repeats and predominantly one designer who is okay but not great! So bit of a false economy obviously just clearing non selling stock 🙁”

“The cards are very pretty, and look well-made. Unfortunately, not only did I get doubles of every single one (duplicates are forewarned against if you buy multiple mystery packs, so fair enough), I also got doubles within each pack - four cards with baked beans, and twelve Father’s Day and Dad birthday cards, I simply do not need.”

“The quality of the mystery books of cards is good. However, I received multiple cards with ‘Happy 70th Birthday’ and rude cards. I was led to believe the cards would be a mixture of cards suitable for different occasions. I’m dissatisfied and won’t be ordering again.”

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your review, we're glad to hear you felt all of the cards were of great quality. We do however apologise for any disappointment caused by the mystery mix. There was a warning included in the description of the product that the sets would include rude humour and relation cards. We do have other bundles available online if you were looking for an alternative mix or perhaps a birthday mix, where we don't include rude humour. “Brought the offer that was advertised on this morning and when the cards arrived I was disappointed at the selection sent to me. The majority I won't use as they are not really my taste in cards, some were quite odd. :(”

“Very disappointed with this mystery pack.of cards. They were not packaged in a box, just an envelope. When they arrived through the post, they were tatty and dogeared around the corners of the cards and envelopes. Also, I purchased this pack, as I have a number of family birthdays coming up, but none of the cards are suitable. There were also a few that were repeated in the pack. I have wasted my money, and wish I hadn't bought them.”

“Ordered 50 cards for £15 …. Very disappointed with the selection , 10 of them I can’t use ! Pigs with explosive attached very bad taste ! Best friend but in contrast on card no your not ! Awful As others too ! Ready to be sent nice ones as replacement please ?”
