“Not impressed with card selection. Most were rude/ joke ones . Some very crude . Out of the 50 I will use only about 20 . So not a good buy for me . Sorry”

“I’ll probably only use a few of the cards but that the risk you take ordering something like this. They didn’t come boxed so a lot of the envelopes were creased. I ordered these as recommended on This Morning but will not be doing it again.”

“Unfortunately the packaging was damaged and so the greetings cards I ordered had all become wet and are now majority stained or warped and the envelopes all sealed shut by moisture. It's a shame because all the cards in the bundle are great designs.”

“My mystery pack of 25 cards was very disappointing and uninspiring, all cards were white, nothing colourful and way over half were age cards mostly for 70 and 80 year olds. I do not know that many old people! The paper gang boxes were again disappointing, both came in damaged wrapping, making them look scruffy and not suitable for gifts. Whilst one box was good value, the second was not, even at the reduced price. I was sorry to have to return everything, I was hoping that these mystery packs would be a good introduction to the company as I am an avid card and stationery buyer!”

“The cards were mostly good, and I loved the fully recyclable packaging. I was however disappointed that there were 9 out of 40 that were Father’s Day type cards. As my father is no longer here, they were all useless to me. I do understand that it is a mystery pack but expected more of a variety.”

“Inimpressed with selection of cards received. I have binned half of them. Can't fault your service/delivery etc. I'm no prude but a lot of tbe cards were inapprpriate and wouldn't dream of sending to anyone. £15 wasted. Won't buy again.”

“Bought a mixed pack of 50 cards but sadly about a third are unusable due to bad language. I expected a few rude cards but not this many! The cards also arrived with creased corners having been packaged in just a a paper envelope - despite paying nearly £3 for postage and packing.”

“Ordered a notebook for me and one for my sister in the clearance at £1 each. Postage was going to end up being more than the value of the items so I added a few other bargain bits and bobs to make up the cost. Received an email saying delivery would take longer due to high demand in the clearance sale, fair enough. Then after saying my order had been dispatched I received a second email and a refund for the notebooks and one other item. Had I been given the choice I would have cancelled the whole order rather than pay £2.50 postage for £7 worth of random bits. When the order did arrive one item was missing and has not been refunded. Overall, pretty disappointed and won't be using ooh deer again.”

“I ordered the cards in good faith that they would be suitable to send, as the cards I have had recently from Ohh Deer have been lovely. I received the cards to find 3/4 of the cards are unusable due to them being rude, crude, pictures of animals with poo. Dreadful I could not send them to anyone. I used about 8 cards for birthdays which were suitable but I cannot use a good majority of them. I emailed the company and they said well it’s a mystery what you get, I asked if I could return them, the answer no as I had used about 8 of them. They could of refunded me a pound less and I would of been happy. I’m a 60 years old lady and the youth find crude, rude things funny but I don’t so they will have to go into the bin. Be careful if you are buying a mystery box. After the year I will not be signing up for the year again.”

We did advise on the product page for the bundle that the cards may contain rude humour, however we are sorry if this was not made clear enough for you before you placed your order. Though we do offer a comprehensive returns policy, it is the case that we aren't able to accept return orders that have been used or are incomplete, which is why the customer service team member advised that we would not be able to accept a return in this case. “I loved Ohh Deer and often buy their card bundles. I buy them knowing that they are luck of the draw and I (generally speaking) can use the whole pack minus maybe one card here and there. This time, I ended up with 3 ‘son’ cards (I am a 24 year old with no kids) and 2 ‘mothers day’ cards which, again, aren’t of any use to me sadly. I think Ohh Deer should reevaluate this because that’s half the pack I cannot use. Generic cards other than maybe a couple would be far more sensible I think..”

“Unfortunately the message I wrote to go with the card via the website wasn’t received by the distribution centre, so after I responded to the email with the copy I wanted the card was sent out late. I had ordered next day delivery on Tuesday but it was sent out by DPD on the Friday and was late, which is a shame as it was for a birthday. I had asked on chat how it would be sent and they said Royal Mail so I was really confused as to what went wrong”
