“As my wife is wheelchair-bound and requires accessibility it is unwise for me to book online. I find the website great for researching my next booking but then tend to telephone to check on availability of accessible rooms. The off peak luxury telephone response is excellent.”

“We found the hotel online first and then found the best price at a previously unheard of OPL. Checked them out and their reviews were all good so booked online with no difficulty. I then needed to check a detail and rang them. It was a real, helpful person who was friendly and knew what they were talking about. I would not hesitate to use them again.”

“1. On arrival at the hotel, Farthings, we found that we had NO reservation as I had not confirmed the booking with you and had just assumed that on receiving the voucher and having paid for it, it was all done. 2. Although the hotel was alright, as hotels go, I have had more ‘Luxurious’ stays at ‘Premier Inns' and could hardly class this one in the ‘Luxury’ category considering the price that I paid.”

Dear Mr Biscoe We are disappointed that you felt to have left us a two-star review following your stay at The Farthings Hotel. However, as clearly stated on your voucher, this must be redeemed before arrival at the hotel. As you had already arrived at the hotel without making a prior booking with us, there would have been no reservation in place. The hotel contacted us on your arrival and we managed to make and confirm a booking for you whilst you were at the hotel. We contacted you by phone to explain the procedure and believe we went above and beyond to make your booking on your day of arrival ensuring you were able to enjoy your stay.
