We find the customer service staff very helpful and efficient. We have made a few bookings in recent times and have generally been pleased with the packages we have received. Our only quibble is that we rarely pay the advertised price as when our booking is processed the hotels tend to require more money for the room type we specify, especially when requesting accessible facilities.

This was our first booking with your organisation having received a voucher from a relative. We were impressed by the range of hotels and the help in making our booking. The communications were helpful and timely which was impressive since this over a holiday period and always conducted in a friendly way.

I called the office searching for any hotels that were close to where we needed to stay and the staff were extremely helpful. They spent lots of time with us until we were satisfied. We booked the hotel but a day later off peak called to tell us the hotel was completely booked. Again they spent lots of time trying to help with a new fit. The succeeded and were extremely helpful in all their efforts. It was a pleasure talking with them.

Good communication overall through e mail, although explaining the switching of the voucher to monetary wasn’t clearly explained, especially when same code is used, also not explained what happens to your change. £225 for hotel, £250 voucher value!

I’m really pleased to hear you found our email communication helpful, but I’m sorry that the process for switching your voucher to a monetary value wasn’t explained as clearly as it should have been. To clarify, when a voucher is converted to a monetary value, the same code is retained for use at checkout, and any remaining balance is kept on the voucher for future use within its validity period. I appreciate that this wasn’t made obvious during your booking, and we’re currently looking into how this can be made much clearer for our customers. We have had a bad experience with the hotel we originally booked as we were notified some time after booking that the hotel was closed on our chosen date, then, having changed our date, the hotel said it could not honour our booking - with just a week to our visit. Toni at Offpeakluxury has been helpful in sorting out our transfer to a new booking, but overall not a good experience.

I tried to book 2 rooms which the website allowed but as it went to the next page your website changed it to 2 doubles. I reset and tried it again, the same thing happened again. I just hope the hotel can accommodate us

What you’ve described isn’t the experience we want our customers to have. Looking at your booking, the package you have booked is for a Club Double which is why the website has changed the room type to a double. However it would appear that some of these rooms can twin which I think is what you initially requested. I will arrange for our customer support team to look into this and get in touch with you as we want to ensure that the correct room type is allocated. I booked a luxury Gourmet weekend break for my wife and I. The Hotel/Spa is lovely, the Off Peak Luxury website was very easy to navigate, and the price was right. I contacted the venue to see if I could get a better price and they told me they couldn’t match it as they didn’t package breaks like Off Peak Luxury does. They also said many of theirs guests come to them via OFF Peak Luxury and they have a great working relationship with them, which was good to hear.
