I was very pleased with the look of the basket, however i was very disappointed to see that the bolts on the back were rusty and clearly very old, therefore the basket is too weak to sit on the handle bars correctly meaning it tilts making the bike difficult to ride. The basket was advertised as brand new, unopened and undamaged which in my opinion is not the case. I now have to go out and spend extra money on new bolts which was not my intention when paying for the basket. I would appreciate your comments on this matter Scarlett

Hi, We have checked this order and the one you ordered was reduced and labelled as coming with Rusty Bolts. It was reduced down to £9.99 from a RRP of £29.99 and we also showed images of the rusty bolts. From time to time we have seconds or slightly damaged items, we heavily reduce these to clear them out. The bolts having some surface rust will not change the strength of them and we would suggest painting them is a good solution. With regards to it moving on the handlebar, it sounds like you have not correctly fitted part of the bracket. There is a long strip with holes in it. When fixed in position this is designed to stop rotation when heavy items are being carried. I hope this clears up the issues and explains that all the details were listed and shown in the advert. Kind Regards Neil
