“Topo Pursuit arrived on time and they are really comfortable on the trail and tarmac. There's plenty of cushioning in the heel and midsole and plenty of room in the toebox, plus I really like the zero drop as my achilles have stretched enough now to make them a comfortable shoe. They are a little on the expensive side but they do appear to be made of stronger material in the uppers than my old choice of zero drop shoes, which split after 5 months. I took the "Pursuits" out over the local moors and they gripped the rocks really well, on the down side they don't dry out as fast as other trail shoes but I think that has something to do with the stronger, thicker material used in the uppers. This ought to make them last longer too as I have some multi-day hikes coming up.”

“The advice on shoes given by email is as useful as it is possible to be. For someone with no access to a specialist shop, Northern Runner is the next best thing - though in fact, when there was a local shop their stock was so limited in small sizes that I never bought a comfortable shoe from them. I am yet to run outside in the Magniflys. Fingers crossed that they will be as comfortable as the Fli-lytes I bought from Northern runner initially and then scoured the web for old stock (they were already discontinued when I bought the first pair from Northern Runner then the last pair they had).”

“Brilliant company to deal with. Orders came within a couple of days. My Hoka trainers are wonderful, it is like walking in air. I am 68 and not used to trainers but my daughter recommended I buy them as I have foot/ankle and back pain. These trainers really help.”
