“Bought Gavotia 5, as previously had Gavotia 4. Not as much lift in the heel of the 5, compared to the 4, and I went up half a size this time (as my big toe almost poked out of my 4’s. I’ve added a gel inner sole too, as the inner edge of the inner soles supplied with the 5’s seems sharp, otherwise they’re fine 😀”

“I chose the extra wide Hoka which fits fine, but it looks bulky at the toe end and it is not attractive. Can you tell me if the wide looks less unattractive ? I am on the verge of returning the trainers. I await to here from you”

“Topo Pursuit arrived on time and they are really comfortable on the trail and tarmac. There's plenty of cushioning in the heel and midsole and plenty of room in the toebox, plus I really like the zero drop as my achilles have stretched enough now to make them a comfortable shoe. They are a little on the expensive side but they do appear to be made of stronger material in the uppers than my old choice of zero drop shoes, which split after 5 months. I took the "Pursuits" out over the local moors and they gripped the rocks really well, on the down side they don't dry out as fast as other trail shoes but I think that has something to do with the stronger, thicker material used in the uppers. This ought to make them last longer too as I have some multi-day hikes coming up.”

“Trainers were dispatched straight away. Unfortunately Royal Mail let the side down with a big delay however Northern Runner refunded the postage and were very good at chasing up the order and getting back to me. Trainers received in perfect condition.”
