“My go to shop for running shoes and socks. They are real runners and I love the indepth and honest shoe reviews they publish. Also love that you can accumulate points for purchase. Recently there was a mix up with some shoes I ordered...the manufacturer had the wrong barcode on the box so I received the wrong pair.. It was sorted out extremely quickly and courteously. When mistakes happen It's so much easier when you can communicate with a real person ! Really can't fault this company, they're great : )”

“Have received excellent advice when a pair of trail shoes didn't fit in the heel. Ended up with an alternative which fits brilliantly and also learn about butterfly lacing. It's great to talk to people that know their stuff !”

“I wanted new shoes- my local shop didn’t have a very good selection of wide shoes in my size so I turned to the Web. Northern runner has useful reviews of shoes, and suggestions of o how they fit. I ordered 3 pairs, which came very quickly. I decided to keep 2, and sent them third back. While a returns label is not included, the returns service was amazingly quick, and I was refunded 2 days after posting. The trainers were a good price, and I am very pleased with my purchases. I will be back!”

“I recently purchased a pair of Altra FWD Experience running shoes, chosen for their wider fit (I had returned an alternative pair of shoes by Altra due to being too narrow). I test ran them this morning at Park Run and I can't recommend them enough for comfort, fit and posture. Good price too. I bought a size bigger than normal, which was perfect. The return process for the too narrow shoes went smoothly and hassle-free. Thank you Northern Runner.”
