Hello Balvinder, its Josh from NordicTrack. Thank you for your review. I understand your frustration when receiving a machine that has a fault. In our customer services defence they did run a diagnostic through with yourself to try determine the fault (console). I believe this has been dealt with accordingly and has been resolved.

The product is good! However, I am yet to use it properly as I am waiting on four screws that were missing.

I am delighted with my NordicTrack crosstrainer. Had it for Christmas and have used it nearly every day. I am amazed at how much fitter I have become in such a short time. Especially as I'm no spring chicken!

Just got one of these after extensive research including advice from a friend who fixes gym equipment for a living. This is my second elliptical, my old Lidl one lasted 12 years and died of metal fatigue. The good:- 1)The build quality is more than I expected with heavy gauge steel (3mm) employed throughout the construction. This is gym grade stuff and will last for a very long time 2)The range of resistance. 3)The incline facility. 4)The speakers(many folks said they sounded tinny).I found them to produce full range decent audio at high levels. 5)The workouts are better than typical domestics models and more gym like. 6)The assembly took about 1 hour on my own as it comes pre assembled. The bad:- 1)It weighs a lot(70+kgs boxed)but this is because it's well made. 2)Its bigger than the pictures portray. 3)Ifit.com advertising at the begining and ending of each workout. 4)The user manual is poor but OK for those who've used ellipticals before. 5)The workout apps do not include HRC programs, this is not a machine for older beginners IMO. I've only used this machine for one workout week and I've lost 3kg. I haven't exceeded level 6 resistance and it's quite tough, I have 14 levels above! The operation is silent when set-up right and the sturdy build gives you confidence. I had clonking after day 3 of use and found that the apparatus wasn't level, once corrected the clonking appeared to go. I think the user manual should be more specific about the available workouts and how to invoke them. I had to spend a bit of time working out how the thing works. All of the buttons do something even the iFit ones (I have no iFit module)but the manual doesn't state any of this. I've given this 4 stars but it would have got 5 if NT UK picked up their phone or responded to registration emails. I nearly removed another star because of the iFit.com advertising at the end of the workouts. This really cheesed me off because I paid a lot for this machine so why the advertising? Based on my experience so far I would highly recommend the NordicTrack club series E7.1 elliptical.

Having built the bike the monitor does not work. I have registered it with icon support but heard nothing, then raised it as a complaint but again heard nothing. As a result I've not been able to use the bike yet.

I believe our customer services did have some slight delay in response as they were looking into a replacement part for your console which was then supplied to an engineer. This has now been resolved. I hope you are enjoying your machine.

No problem with buying but difficult to set treadmill/IFIT/mobile or tablet. I paid for the treadmill to be put together (thank God) but after the 1st workout, found 3 screws and washers on thefloor. Since Christmas had one answer from their team asking for more details, now early February and I have recently received, after me chasing them for a reply, an automated email to say they have received a lot of emails and therefore I needed to be patient... The heart monitor is not working either so overall not too happy.

Hi, having read reviews on the best treadmills I decided to purchase a Nordik Track 17.5. I decided to purchase straight from the supplier to miss the middle man in case there were any problems. Having purchased from icon health and fitness the treadmill came with the ifit module. The ifit module did not work. No fault of Nordik Track. The fan on the treadmill to cool the user does not work which is a complaint. After lots of phone calls and emails to icon health and fitness they have replaced the ifit module and have promised a new console so I have a working fan. Moan over. I am really impressed with the treadmill it is a fantastic piece of equipment very sturdy and a pleasure to work out on. I would certainly purchase another product from Nordik Track in fact I'm looking at the cycling machines. I work in a technical industry so know problems arise and we get over them. Keep up the quality work. Well done. Neil.

I was hugely disappointed with my purchase of a very high end Elliptical trainer. Before I bought I read all the specifications in the sales blurb. When I purchased and received the item, I of course, read the User Manual that came with it and in there it said, on pg 17, that the unit should only be used at room temperature. This was not noted on the specifications. Therefore, I feel I was duped. I had planned to use the unit in a house/gym that is not heated. I gave no space in my home for it.

In our terms and conditions it is noted that all our machines should be kept in a suitable environment which is similiar to a front room / living room type of environent.

We ordered the X9i to help us train for an ultra triathlon that will have us running up Mt Snowdon as part of the run. It is awesome to be able to add this as a route so we can attack the areas we need. So far we are loving both the machine and its integration with iFit. It's a big unit and comes in a big box! The delivery went well though and the delivery man did a great job getting it to where we wanted it.

Excellent product....really pleased. Quite a challenge for two more mature ladies to assemble, partly because there was a fair bit to do but mainly as product weighs so much, but instructions were good. Would buy from this company again...but would pay for installation!! LOL.

The treadmill that was ordered is good and of high quality. I recommend it. The delivery service however, was flawed and the customer relations response inadequate. The Delivery service driver and colleague were unable to take the machine up the stairs-said too heavy and the machine would damage my property for which they would take no responsibility. Another delivery time was fixed and I had to provide 3 builders to assist the process. Tried discussing same with customer relations and when I asked to speak to a person in authority was refused as follows Quote As per our conversation today, please note that you can send a formal complaint to our Customer Relations Manager at Unit 1D The Gateway, Fryers Way, Silkwood Park, Ossett, Wakefield WF5 9TJ. I am sorry that I am unable to provide a contact number as this is confidential and for internal use only. However, the Customer Relations Manager will reply to any complaint in due time and we take into consideration any feedback from our customers. Unquote I had to contact the US management and a week later was called by a uk based helpful customer services person. In fairness she then dealt with my complaint as best she could and efficiently offered a modest compensatory gesture which I accepted. In short if you are purchasing a large machine I would not go directly to Nordic but to John lewis or Amazon who have a more serious approach to customer relations and would I suspect have dealt with the problem more efficiently. Having spent around £1000 on a machine and paid extra for delivery and installation to be told that I cannot speak to the manager and that the number is confidential shows an unbelievably cavalier approach to the customer. Bearing in mind that the time taken for 2 deliveries and additional costs of providing 3 builders took the cost to close to £1500 I would hope that icon / Nordic take note and improve their service.

I believe there were communication issues about the amount of installers would be required for your machine. As the item was going upstairs it would require a 3 man service so I do apologise for the delay in the installation and delivery. In your review you are correct about our complaints procedure. I believe you were given a response to your complaint within the time frame mentioned and this has now been resolved. Furthermore I believe our customer services were able to give you any information you needed about the complaint made. I can assure you we take customer services very seriously especially in relation to complaints made. I'm hoping you are enjoying your machine.

I rang the sales desk to order my exercise bike, the man I spoke to was so helpful and polite. He answered all my questions regarding delivery , assembly etc. The delivery guys were also polite and asked where I'd like the bike to be put. My husband put the bike together and although there are loads of parts we found the instructions clear and easy to use. Fab service.

Had no problems with the treadmill, it's really good, however I've had problems with the iFit - getting it to do the live workouts etc. I did contact yourselves about this and was told somebody would call back but nobody did. Have now managed to hook into Google streetview but really wanted to do live video workouts. From internet searches it looks like everyone has problems doing this. Could do with a handbook on setting the iFit up and describing how to use it's features. So in summary the treadmill is really good the iFit is really bad. I'm considering returning the iFit for a full refund. Regards Phil and jackie May

Brilliant bit of kit all turned up on time! Please make sure the fitters are familiar with the assembly of the machine as they done well only had to make a few adjustments ie tightening things up but generally pleased

Delivery on time and instructions to assemble the treadmill were easy to follow. The only negative aspect was that we were unprepared for the weight of the main part and had to arrange for assistance to get it upstairs. Otherwise very pleased as it seems very stable and is easy to use.

Great cross trainer. Compact enough not to be too intrusive in the house but packed with stacks of features that make every workout different and a challenge. Well worth the money!
