Purchased a E9.5 Elliptical Trainer. It was easier to put together than expected - I did it on my own in around an hour. If you can put flat pack furniture together then you can put this machine together with minimal effort. The built quality and feel of the elliptical trainer is as good as you would find in a gym. HOWEVER - it doesn't work. The console lights up as expected and will adjust incline, resistance and let you choose programmes, but they never start. It says "start striding" on to screen but it doesn't sense movement. Clearly an electronic fault. I phoned customer services who could not have cared less that I purchased a £600 machine that was DOA. They told me to send an email to which I got an automated 'we aim to reply in 48 hours' response. They haven't. If this isn't resolved in 7 days, I will be asking for this to be collected and a full refund.

Hi Matthew, What you have described sounds like a very easy problem to fix - there is a small sensor which registers when the wheel is spinning, it can sometimes slip out of position during transit. the delivery/installation guy was great! He pointed out a Small crack on the right hand handle grip - would like a replacement please.

Fantastic bike and easy to use. Only problem is that the monitor display is too small and the writing difficult to read

The product was delivered late---the courier misinformed us of the date and time of delivery. The serial number is located under the heavy frame---the installer did not advise us where it was, very awkward when trying to register for extended warranty. The proof of purchase is sent by e mail in a version which cannot be uploaded for an extended warranty--not customer friendly.

Hi, Apologies the carriers provided the wrong time - I hope it wasn't too inconvenient for you. The serial number is also located on the outside of the main box in two separate locations which are easier to access. We deliberately locate the sticker in an out-of-sight place on the product so it does not detract from the aesthetics of the machine. We are going through a system upgrade at the moment and will be able to provide invoices in a pdf format shortly, thank you for your feedback on this.

We had the machine delivered and assembled by your staff (£90). There has been a problem with the main post creaking since the very first day a couple of months ago. We have emailed back and forward with Icon but without success. I have sent a letter to Health and Fitness Customer Service. No response. The machine is obviously not fit for purpose and I will take advice from Consumer Affairs Dept and Citizens Advice and proceed from there. I would never buy another Nordic Track nor would I ever recommend to anyone

Hi, We hope that you have got this issue resolved, but please send an email to salesuk@iconeurope.com if this is still ongoing. It should be simple enough to resolve, there are six bolts at the bottom of the upright, under a plastic cap, that will be slightly loose. Let us know if the issue is still there and we can advise the best solution.

I ordered my cross trainer on Monday 30th August and I am still awaiting delivery, despite being informed delivery would be within 5-7 days. I still haven't recieved any communcation regarding delivery, despite assurances on Friday 4th September that someone would contact me. Very disappointed in the service.

I'm sorry that you were not delivered within the 5 - 7 working days as stated however as per out terms and conditions, based on your postcode, they are slightly extended as the address was located within the Highlands so we had to transport the item to another carrier for this delivery. I believe this has been delivered now so I hope you are enjoying your machine!

I bought an i-Fit plug-in chip to get some more exciting and challenging routines for my Nordic Track cross-trainer. You can only follow the regime with further info from the web-site. After wasting nearly an hour in 2 attempts (it is a really hard site to use), it seems that this is available only if I sign up to subscription-based service - not something that was explained anywhere when I bought it. The chip was under £20 and that is the only reason I haven't bothered to go to the trouble of demanding a refund. The cross-trainer is very good but i-Fit is a rip-off. Do not buy.

Poor internet function. Difficult meny navigation. Difficulty level is out of sync with the display level. Poor loose handlebars. Poor quality hand adjusters that fall apart in your hand. Not what I expected. Really dissapointed. How do I get a refund for this poor quality product? Or at least swap it for something that is fit for purpose...

The treadmill broke and the speed and after sales was extremely poor. Fixed now (replaced) but I'm worried if anything goes wrong I would have to endure the same again! Very disappointed.

Received my cross trainer ok and on time! Then I received an email link to the Nordic track web site to fill in and validate my two year warranty. After getting to the bottom of the page I realised it was no good to me as I live in England and this was only for people living in the States or Mexico. " Well done Nordic track" So I filled in the paper work that came with my unit and posted it off with the required proof of purchase. As yet I don't know if it was received ok to validate my two year warranty? I suppose I will find out if I ever need to make a claim! Not really impressed with your warranty procedure Nordic track or your goods! I had an audio strider 900 before I upgraded to the 1400 and it was far a better machine in my opinion.

I bought an Elliptical E10.0 about 4 months ago and love it. I chose this model because it is a really solid stable piece of kit - and it folds up to save space. It feels like a quality piece of gym equipment when you are using it. The control panel is easy to use and there are lots of scope to make the workouts challenging as your fitness improves using the resistance levels and incline. I also bought the optional iFit module - it's a fun add on but certainly not essential. The ordering process wasn't smooth. I placed the order, got an email to say I'd hear within 2 days to agree a delivery date and then...silence. I called them a few days later and after a few phone calls to NordicTrack and the delivery company things were sorted - mostly due to the delivery company to be honest!! The actual delivery service was fantastic. I needed 'upstairs delivery' and they took the machine up some narrow-ish stairs, unboxed it, set it up and took away the packaging in about 15 minutes! (They did say it's the easiest model to install.)

Bought a NordicTrack treadmill with iFit capability. Treadmill motor blew up on first session, but was repaired in 2 weeks. Putting that aside as bad luck I stradtes to use the treadmill and have done so regularly. However, user problems with the iFit capability have not been resolved through iFit customer service - which is total and utter garbage . Even on the official forum, the service is openly mocked by members given that nobody ever seems to have had a satisfactory response to a query. So in effect, the iFit functionality is a fancy, but ultimately useless add on. I have a treadmill that I use regularly - but it could be any brand - certainly don't have the features I was sold in the brochure. A little bit sad really because it could be so much better.....

Very good machine, although the console design is frustrating. The plug for the MP3 in the centre means you can't rest an iPad or phone on the ledge as the plug is in the way. It should be placed to one side. The console would also be better back lit . It's a huge console & the design could be so much more practical without destroying the design. I love the machine & the running programmes, just find the design of the console disappointing

Sadly as you mentioned the design of the MP3 aux hole is placed in a certain position which stops you from resting your device. With our newer product range on NordicTrack I believe this has now been changed and we do include device holders on the machine to avoid issue's like this.

Will Never buy from Nordictrack again. Spent £1500 on a faulty treadmill, it was broke when delivered and installed (which I paid extra for) Now 4 months later, 2 engineer visits and hundreds of emails I'm still sitting here with a piece of junk. Customer service and care is virtually non-existent. Nobody wants to take responsibility for the bad service I'm getting. Please Avoid Them!

Its our customer services job to try exhaust all solutions to rectify the fault with your machine. This includes engineer visits to try understand what is wrong and replace any faulty parts. Fun, goes quite steep for a real workout, squeaks a bit though needs some oil on the joints. Like it.
