“Parcel was supposed to be received yesterday, I stayed in all day, DPD said that they would take a photo of my open door as proof of delivery. They didn’t even knock on the door, picture shows box on the floor outside a closed door. I have had to cancel a large customer order putting me financially under strain and I have lost a good customer. My-Accessories won’t refund my money until DPD have investigated which could be six days, even though DPD didn’t deliver properly, small businesses can’t function without finance. I have lost a good customer, my reputation has been damaged and financially it has put other orders at risk, I would not recommend”

Good morning Nicky I'm sorry to hear that you had an issue with your delivery however on looking at the details, your parcel was delivered to the correct address at 13.03pm and the image taken was outside your front door which you have confirmed. As we were notified the following day, this delayed us contacting the depot who could have called the driver for further information whilst he was still in the area. Unfortunately this delay means an investigation has to be opened so the driver can be interviewed. DPD provide an hours slot on the day of delivery and up to date locations of the driver can be seen when using their app on your phone, therefore we advise that customers to download this app if possible, so they can follow the progress of their delivery including when it has been delivered. I can appreciate your frustration regarding your customer however I'm sure as a business owner, you appreciate that we have to look into any situation that may arise regarding an issue with an order or delivery and the appropriate action taken when the full details have been presented.
