“I have had the pleasure of a mortgage broker named James Deakin. I can't say a bad word about him. He has worked the absolute hardest to get my partner and I the mortgage for our new house. He has been amazing at keeping great contact with me every step of the way. He has always been so polite and professional with all the paperwork. Always asking if we understood and helped if we didn't understand some of the more technical wording. He's helped us in house cover and life insurance. He's been my guardian angel through the purchase of the house. Even though he's completed his side of the mortgage, he checks in to see how the solicitors are working and helping me through the word jargon. It can be very stressful when buying a house but hes made it as stress free as he could for us. I will forever be grateful for all his help. James you have been delightful, thank you!”

“We where referred to mortgage light because we where buying shared ownership and Urvi handled everything seamlessly, buying our first home the paperwork can feel overwhelming but Urvi took time to explain things so both my husband and I understood and also being that everything is by email and telephone being able to build rapport is difficult but she is really personable and pleasant to deal with and it has been a fabulous experience! We got our mortgage offer out so quickly now to get through the legal side which I hope runs just as smoothly”

“I cannot thank Jordan enough for everything he did for me. He really gave it his all and did a tremendous job helping me get the best mortgage deal possible. We were in constant communication throughout the process and, as a first-time buyer, he really went above and beyond to explain everything to me simply and clearly, sometimes more than once. He was always easy to reach via phone or email and quickly responded to my inquiries. I can think of no one better to do this kind of business with in the future and he is even invited to the housewarming!”

“We were guided by Urvi throughout our mortgage application process. Urvi is very patient, flexible and always explained each steps thoroughly. At first, we faced some difficulties in getting mortgage from different lenders due to gifted deposit. Urvi didn’t give up and found a lender who accepted 100% mortgage. “Huge thank you to James Carr at Mortgage Light. James was informative and reactive during an extremely volatile and challenging time to remortgage. James remained communicative and we always felt our best interests were being thought about from the outset. James provided balanced advice but ultimately did not apply pressure for any specific decision; this was important given the extremely uncertain times we are faced with. At the 11th hour our chosen provider was going to significantly raise interest rates on the same product we were advised on. James sought our permission to proceed immediately and we managed to secure the lower interest rate. If James had not been so on the ball, we would be facing a very different set of rates and circumstances. Thanks again, James.”

“Jordan, Melissa and Lauren were all fantastic from beginning to end! Jordan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and made it such an easy process considering I have no clue about mortgages!! Melissa and Lauren (and everyone else I encountered at Mortgage Light) were also extremely efficient with giving updates, and there was no waiting around for a response to an email (which is extremely stressful at times!) Definitely recommend and will be using in future :)”
