“An invaluable comparison site. As I spend three months a year on Cyprus and hire a car for most of that time, the savings from buying an annual hire car excess insurance as opposed to the hire car companies own insurance are substantial. This site brings up a fully comprehensive list of insurance providers allowing me to select a product that is just right for me.”

“I was checking details of car hire excess insurance and the lady I spoke to (nice to be able to actually speak to a human), was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Money Maxim provided lots of choice, many with discount and I went ahead with the one that best suited my needs. Great service, thank you.”

“The insurance coverage suggested by Moneymaxim did not match the offers provided by the companies when I proceeded to purchase. As a result, I found the site to be somewhat misleading. However, I must acknowledge that the website is packed with valuable information on a very complex subject. Additionally, Moneymaxim handled my feedback with courteous professionalism, promptly updating the information and taking corrective action with the relevant companies. Although this did not benefit my situation since I had already made my purchase, it will likely assist others facing similar issues in the future. This response was reassuring, and I commend them for their efforts.”

Hi Sushila Thank you so much for your comments, and for taking our subsequent call. We could not believe it when we read your review - all the insurers on the panel are contractually obliged to give us 24 hours notice of any changes - and on this occasion that just did not happen - an inquest is under way at the insurers to find out what went wrong. Our system, combined with regular spot checks, normally works brilliantly, and I cannot remember the last time it failed us, but thanks to you this was speedily corrected and all is well again. I think the chances of you having a similar experience in the future are about 1 in a million, but I am very sorry this was not as straightforward as it should have been on this occasion.
