“Having bought many Moda boots before sized 38, l felt confident that the pair l ordered would fit perfectly. Unfortunately they were far too small over the bridge of my foot and was told by yourselves that incorrect sizing did not amount to a 'fault' and therefore l had to return them at a cost in excess of £11.00 and l did not even get a reply to my request for a refund of the postage. Very disappointed.”

“I have ordered numerous items from MIP and never had an issue. However, upon having to return an item for the first time I encountered appalling customer service, lies and deceit. It took nearly 4 weeks to receive a refund of £179 after their denial of receiving item until I provided tracking proof (this took 2 weeks to sort!). They then didn’t refund for another 10 days! Awful attitude on phone and via email. Will never order from them again which is a shame as I had a number of items sat in my cart which I was intending to order once refund received.”

“I bought snakeskin loafers in silver, in the sale. They are very disappointing and I wish I'd sent them back! They are far too narrow and tight across the top! I'm hoping I can stretch them as the shoe itself looks nice but if I can't wear them, what good is that! Very disappointed, as I'm a 'D' width usually, so I can't understand it?”

“I’m afraid I won’t be using this company again. The boots I ordered were good quality but made narrow and small. I had to return the item, to a post office, a rare find these days, queue for 45 minutes and paid 12 pound postage to return. Moda offers no other way to return items in this area! I am still waiting for a refund on the £80 boots and Moda says customer is responsible for paying return postage. Therefore, I cannot afford to use this company again. Such a shame”

“First purchase ruined by racist hermes driver. The the package was chucked through bathroom window. The package knocked ittle stones on the side and they fell and smashed against sink. Tried to show hermes but was met by abuse so I told her very loudly toget off.my property”

“I bought black patent shoes and wore them twice. Both shoes have scratches on them which appear as white lines. These were only worn walking around town. Customer services have said there is no fault with the shoe. I believe there is. They should not scratch so easily during normal wear.”

“It’s strange that I received this email as I have blocked you from my mailing list. In July I contacted your CS with a problem I had with my recent order. They were extremely unhelpful and I also sent a review stating my dissatisfaction with the way my problem had been dealt with which was also ignored.I wasn’t therefore surprised to read very negative reviews on another online review site where other customers had been treated as badly as me and that you only post positive reviews on your website. What’s really sad is that I love your shoes and my issue could have been easily resolved but you chose not too which means another customer lost”

“I ordered a pair os shoes. They have a small bit of damage on them. I phoned customer service. A not very helpful person told me to take a photo of the damage and they would decide if they were damaged. Unbelievable. I don’t know how to do this. So at my expense I have to return them. I wish I had done what I normally do and that is to buy from QVC they would have sent me a returns label immediately. Not impressed and won’t buy again.”

“Goods are unfit for purpose. I have had to return both my recent purchases because they have fallen apart. Previously I have had a bag fall apart, then the replacement did and I have a pair of boots I've hardly worn where the zip has gone. Dreadful quality. AVOID.”

“I have had some great shoes from you , but the last ones I'm very disappointed with i have only wore them for about 5hr,the soles are already wearing down. The soles seem to be made of some kind of foam, uppers are leather and I am sure I won't get much out of the shoes which weren't cheap.”

“I was emailed to tell me the item I ordered was no longer available and they had cancelled the order and refunded me. Then I received an email telling me that it had been dispatched. It was very confusing and I felt poor service.”
