“I bought some beautiful pony skin zebra loafers about 3 weeks ago .They were so comfortable .However after wearing them about 5 times, 3in the house and 2 occasions outside I will no longer be able to wear them .This is because the pony skin has worn on the side and where I drove completely came off exposing white on the heel .There is no warning to say this would happen .I have had a previous pair from another company that I had worn for 6 years and only just got to the state these are in 3 weeks .I love moda and pelle shoes but these are really disappointing .”

“I purchased a pair of sandals wore them twice hardly worn as I am shielding and just going for a very small walk.and they fell apart. I contacted Customer services and told to send in photographic evidence which I did. I was then told to send them back and would be credited the cost of purchase against my next purchase. I did complain and had the postage back. I had to come out of shielding to return them which is over a week ago and still waiting for some sort of communication and a refund. Would not recommend moda in pelle really poor service.”

“Ordered 3 pairs of sandals 2 ok. 1 pair were not the same size and no sizing on them. Returned to my expense, no refunded after 5 days stated. I rang them and was told to email. Took about 2 weeks to get refund.”

“Love the look of these boots but the fit is poor. They’re too big in the size, I’m a 4 and find my foot slipping around. I really wanted to wear them scrunched down but they don’t stay down and rise back up and look too baggy as a knee length boot. First pair of Moda boots that I’ve been disappointed with. Perhaps that explains the cheaper price then?”

“Was disappointed by the quality of the boots. Admittedly purchased as sale items but the sizing was way off. I take a 6. 5 and ordered a pair of size 7s - usually too big. They were more like a size 6. Far too tight! I have never had a 7 be too small before and I am 63!!! Resented having to pay return postage as legally speaking shoes were 'not as described'. Complained but M in P wouldn't take responsibility.”

“I purchase at least a couple of styles each summer and have done for many years now so I was really disappointed with this pair As they were Illfitting. They were the M range rather than original Moda so I’m wondering wether that’s the reason. Then to add insult to injury I had to pay a fiver to send goods back that were insufficient.”

“Shoes were lovely and arrived without any problem. However unfortunately they were not wide enough for me and I had to return them. Despite being promised a refund on 7 June within 3 to 5 working days it is now 21 June and I am still waiting.”

“I bought a pair of sandals & was delighted with them however they came unstuck!.......the over foot strap came apart from the sole leaving me hobbling home. In all fairness I was offered a refund but the hassle of boxing up & taking them to a p.o. in these constrictive times was too much...”

“I returned part of my order. I was very disappointed that I had to pay the full return postage - which was very expensive. I would have thought with the fact no shops are open then you would allow free returns - many other companies do. This has totally put me off ordering from you in the future.”

“I am a big fan of Mode In Pelle shoes I have more than I would like to confess to. I received the order promptly and was very pleased with the sandals which I kept. However I was very disappointed at having to pay £13.50 to return the shoes I did not keep. This has made me very reluctant to order any further shoes boots or sandals online again. I was not aware of the potential cost of returning unsuitable items until I went to the Post Office. So not a good experience in the end.”
