“Received a pair of faulty sandals and, despite repeatedly chasing, I am still waiting for a refund. Not imoressed.”

“Moda is one of my go to for footwear. I love the styles and fit. I returned the boots as they were a little tight. Whilst I don’t have a complaint about the boot, the returns process has been a nightmare. There is little or no communication, I am unable to get through by phone as it cuts you off, and despite showing proof of postage, there has been no refund or information. This would put me off buying on line again. Very disappointed.”

“Ordered shoes two weeks before Xmas, which never arrived. Emailed customer services who reordered, then received an email saying they were out of stock even though I had received a dispatch notification. Rubbish.”

“I am extremely disappointed in service received from Moda in Pelle after many years of being a customer. At time of writing review I still have not received a response to numerous emails and situation has been going on since 19th December 2022. Poor customer service, would, now, not recommend and will look elsewhere in future for footwear!!! Note below I TRIED to communicate via email and also telephone.”

“Your customer service is absolutely terrible i ordered boots for Christmas never got them till January while I accept this might have been out of control it’s takes 3to 5 days for you to respond to an email it cost me 14 pound all told for delivery and returns which I thought was terrible as I would of kept the boots if they had arrived in time so will think twice before ordering again”

“Not a great experience I ordered shoes which came in the correct size box however wrong size within. Customer services were a nightmare to get a response from. I also had to pay return postage albeit their error & wait to be refunded.”

“I thought I was in heaven when I saw the Moda In Pelle website! Treated myself to two pairs of boots and waited like a child at Christmas. Wore the red boots out on St. Stephens Day - to much flattery and compliments. The next morning I put them on and while getting ready to go out all the lace eyelets popped out - literally popped out - I've never had that happen to me before. Very upset that my first 'me' purchase in about two years broke. However, pulled up my big girl pants and put the grey pair on and out I went. The next day a cousin asked me what was dangling from my boots - one of the strips of beading had just come away... followed hours later by another stip of beading in another section. Now if I was giving them trouble I could understand - but I was wearing them to visit family i.e. sitting around and laughing and joking etc. So, they look beautiful and they feel lovely - they will last about two days - that's been my experience. Now I get the 'joy' of having to parcel them up and send them back and see if I can get a refund. Ultimately, it's not the experience that I wanted - I wanted gorgeous new boots.”

“Ordered beautiful long black boots but they arrived with glue on the side. Obviously not checked prior to despatch. I had to return them at ny own cost and to get the cost refunded i need to call the customer service team but they dont answer the phone. Still awaiting the refund and the postage costs. Will never buy from Moda in Pelle again.”

“Whilst I’m sure the boots are beautiful as the use evri as a delivery partner they were never received. Had to chase customer services for over three weeks. Failed to follow through on revised delivery options eventually refunding my order after a month”

“Returned the boots as they are too big and I am still waiting for my refund to be deposited in to my bank as I have received an email saying that the refund has been approved! How long does this process take, I have been waiting weeks?”
