“Ordered shoes and they were lovely but sadly their shape didn't suit my foot. Pinched my toes. I returned them but had to chase up the refund myself and send proof of return. Have I hadn't done that myself I doubt if it would have been picked up on. Maybe they could review their goods returned procedure.”

“First time service is acceptable usually very very good.. Feel from ordering the shoes the time it takes to sort out the order is long.. Shoes are available at time of purchase but as it takes more than 2 to 3 days for order to be dealt with there is no guarantee your purchase will still be in order.. Not very good service..”

“I was disappointed with the fit, wider then I thought. Glad I didn't pay full price as they were not real suede. Got at a good price therefore not returning. Will only buy in the sale.”

“I returned a pair of shoes and needed an exchange. I was told the size was in stock so waited and waited until when I rang was told not available. I will not be purchasing shoes again on line as I am not prepared to pay the postage for returns which is a shame as I like your shoes.”

“Delivery service was ok, product well packaged, nice boots but unfortunately such small sizing, I’m always a standard size 7 but these were so narrow and small so had to return them. Disappointed that I had to pay postage to return something as-well, not sure I’d order online again.”

“These were just what I was looking for, style with comfort. Reading the other comments about size, I stuck with my normal size & it was way too small! Toes up against the end small! So sadly had to return. Also not a great fit for narrow feet, gapping at the top.”

“Lovely looking shoes, the fit is amazing and so very comfortable. I ignored the excess glue on one of the shoes on arrival as I got them for an amazing price. However... It’s also such a shame that the sole is flaking away and disintegrating after just two hours wear! A fail sadly”

“Although the shoes I bought were lovely the sizes are left to be desired I am a size 8 I bought them as a size 8 but unfortunately they are not. They are a 7/12 as they are European sizes 41. They were also quite stiff and in this day and age where leathers can be so soft it’s a shame.”

“I did find both pairs of boots that were sent to me were on the narrow side, as I have quite broad feet they were not suitable for me which was unfortunate as I really like the designs of the boots. Perhaps in future your Company could possibly design shoes and boots for the wider foot.”

“I love the shoes, but was quite disappointed with my last online purchase experience. The trainers I had ordered were faulty. I returned them and received a new pair in exchange, but I had to pay for the return postage. I am happy to pay the postage where I am returning an unwanted/unsuitable pair, but do not think that I should have to pay when I have been sent something faulty.”

“Boots were lovely and really nice fit. Very poor delivery which took 2 weeks, Hermes lost 1st pair, 2nd pair sent out by you and received next day. Poor communication from Hermes, I made 3 phone calls to yourselves to enquire about delivery.”

“First, I love moda in pelle I have so many pairs all favourites. But the sizing in the runners that I ordered is way off. My husband bought a pair from simply be for me for Christmas in size 6 because the 5 in all the previous shoes I bought can be a little tight. They were huge and we could not return them because he bought them in October. But I really wanted a pair so I bought a size 5 during Christmas. Still too big. And as my daughter was starting in a new school in January I just didn't have a chance to return them as she needed all my focus. Still love moda in pelle, just really annoyed that between the two of us we are out over 200 euro.”

“Always been size 6 shoes ordered way too big. Internet shows there is a Moda In Pelle in House of Fraser. Went to return shoes only to be advised it’s been closed down for a year. Had to pay £8.00 to send shoes back. Complained about being misinformed, only to be advised it’s not up to Moda to update internet regarding store closures. Will think twice next time about buying shoes from yourselves!”
