Ordered an item online, took them about 5 days to tell me the item was out of stock. Not happy. It was a gift and I had to order elsewhere urgently for it to arrive on time.

Only part of the delivery arrived and had to chase up the courier service as to what had happened left a message asking to be contacted no one got in touch . fence panels were missing nails or badly tacked some of the panels were loose or hanging off.

We ordered from Maxwell's as they advertise next day delivery. Ordering on the Friday we understood the items would not arrive until Monday. Stayed in Monday then got an email just before 5pm to say our delivery would not be until Wednesday! If we had known we would have ordered from another company and paid a bit more as the items were needed urgently.

I ordered a paint sprayer Sunday 3rd July,delivery date Tuesday 5th July,as I was working that day arranged delivery at a neighbours address with her permission (she stayed in especially ). No delivery ! I did receive an email apologising saying due to problems with the courier parcel would be delivered the next da as it was. Not a big problem and I was also offered a discount off my next order which OK ,would be good if I was intending to make another order,but I would have preferred discount on this order as don't know if and when I might make another order!

I was disappointed with the delivery day which I'd requested for the Thursday. After waiting in all day it never arrived due to it being dispatched to the wrong depot. I only found this out after phoning the office. It would have been nice if someone could have phoned and let me know. I was promised it would definately arrived Friday which it did.

Placing the order online was smooth. Unfortunately after that it all went wrong. Did not receive all the goods ordered. Chased them up, got no feedback at all. Sent e-mail with full details, got no reply at all not even an acknowledgment! Called again days later to finally get a satisfactory result when the missing goods arrived. Next time customers complain please make sure you follow it up and give feedback...don't leave them in the dark. Room for improvement I think. You may have lost a loyal customer over this mess.

ordered item and paid for next day delivery on Tuesday but item still hadn't turned up on Thursday. Delivery fee was refunded but item still not arrived after after a week even though I had email confirmation that order had been dispatched!!! If you want anything quick it might be easier to go to the store.

orderd my things well before the cut off time did not receive the next day and when it did arrive it came on 2 different vans a couple of hours apart no text or phone call had to wait in the present was for my niece i got them from you because your add said next day delivery and she was coming out of hospital the day i wanted them delivered so i was not to pleased the good thing was she loves the wheelbarrow and tools peelym

The order was placed on a Friday for next day delivery (Monday). On the Thursday our items had still not arrived. I was informed over the phone that there was an issue with the payment card. Why customer services do not phone and let you know is unbelievable. I will not use this company again as I have gone elsewhere and found better service.

Only received part of my paint order on the day requested - when I phoned Maxwells they said the other two tins had been damaged in transit by Yodel so they would reorder them for delivery. That was due yesterday but still haven't received this replacement order, and received no phone calls or emails to update me. Was very inconvenient as I wanted to paint the shed at the weekend but didn't have the paint. Plus point was that the paint was a lot cheaper than other stores, but if it's not delivered on time then not very helpful even if it was cheaper!

I recently placed an order for showroom shine on next day delivery and ended up waiting 5 days for it to turn up. Although when I rang them they were very helpful and apologetic this did not help when you have been waiting for something that should have been there the next day so over all good costumer sevice very poor logistics

Waited in all morning for paint to be delivered. I rang and was told the paint has been discontinued. They can make the colour I want but it's not coming till tomorrow

Ordered two tins of Ronseal Shed and fence protector and paid for next working day delivery. Six days later I contacted the company has I had not received the items. I was informed that they did not have the items in stock and did not know when they would arrive. No e-mail or other communication. I had to ask for a refund as this was not offered, poor service from this company.

Ordered on line to collect at my local store, was contacted by phone and asked to call after noon to collect. When I arrived at 2pm the order had not arrived and shop assistant was very unhelpful, suggesting the shop had nothing to do with the web ordering service and the orders were always late arriving. Suggested I should have just gone to the shop to buy in the first place. The shop manager was apologetic but unable to fulfill my order from stock held in shop. As a result I had to make a second trip to pick up the order once it had been delivered to the shop. You need to link up your on line and shop operations and tighten up you delivery schedules.
