Pollycell paint arrived all leaking in the box . The filler was already open as the inside seal was missing and a third gone . Bought two so I know it should have been fuller . Not necessarily your fault as it could be manafacturers and courier issues , but I did email and had no reply .

The gate I wanted was 3ft. wide and4ft. high not what I received 4ft wide x 3ft. high. very disappointed with what I got.

Of the 6 picket fence i have ordered, two came with 4 slate missions and atleast 3 slates hanging. One fence had bad bend. Poor quality. I wouldn't recommend. But when i rang them, they did send missing slates next day.

I placed my on wed (23rd aug) online, got an email saying items would arrive on 25th As of today 30/08 they havnt arrived. I rang the customer help line who said she would look into it and ring me back , that hasnt happened either.I need these items for my buisiness and every delay is costing me money. Order no 83383

Initially told goods could not be delivered on arranged date. Rearranged delivery, only to be told item was out of stock and no more expected! Disappointing service but staff courteous and refund issued immediately.

Not happy for price, End of checkout they add 20% VAT. They are very clever. if you add 20% VAT + Delivery charge, expensive then other's stores. Mould cleaner no spray bottle, you need to buy separate, same brand there items Wilko selling cheaper. So why I need to buy from them

Im a bit dissapointed with the barrel as the steel straps are rusty which is staining the wood, its not that attractive in that condition. This will require buffing and re-painting now.

My order was late. When the paint was delivered one of tins had opened up and paint had spilled inside the packaging. In the process of opening the packaging I got covered in paint, as did my rug, floor and patio. I wasn't delighted.

It took 2 weeks to receive my delivery, after a few phone calls the goods were finally delivered.

Ordered items on 2nd May, got an email on 8th May got an email saying items weren't in stock and they're not expecting stock anytime soon so order cancelled. I perfectly understand this can happen but would have appreciated knowing this much sooner. Thanks

I ordered from Maxwell's specifically because I needed delivery of compost on a particular day. Delivery cost £15, but after waiting in all day it was not delivered, and I was not notified. I was offered £5 recompense (not yet received) which in my view is not sufficient as I could have got free delivery elsewhere if I didn't care what day it was delivered. I will not be using Maxwell's again.

Paid for next day delivery. Advised via email they wouldn't be able to do it. Only after me asking did they give me half the delivery cost back with the guarantee it would be there on the Tuesday. Turned up on the Wednesday. Would have given one star except Chelsea on the customer service was helpful.

I ordered a tin if paint before Easter and chose wednesday 19th April as a delivery day . I was on holiday from work that week and wanted to get on with the painting. It did not arrive on weds so i emailed maxwells to be told it hadnt been ordered!! They did ,however, get one to me on the friday but not until lunchtime !

Did not have ordered parts in stock. Delayed delivery. Delivered on unacceptable date and time. Gate, hinges and latches missing from delivery.

I would not recommend to a friend. The only good thing is the price. Service leaves a lot to be desired. I was promised a delivery on the Tuesday but did not arrive, the carrier emailed me to explain that Maxwell had not handed over the item. No updates from Maxwell so I called and listened to their self praise speech while waiting to speak to them, in the speech it tells me that they will contact you after speaking to them within 30 minutes giving me an update, this did not happen on the two occasions I called them. I had no info or tracking for my item and I did request an email to confirm a delivery and yet again Nothing!!! My item finally arrived on the Saturday. I will not be buying from this unreliable company again.

Ordered before 4 pm as website shows next day delivery. Order page says usually despatched in 24hrs. When ordered this changed to 3-5 days. 5 days later hadn't heard anything. Rang customer service who couldn't offer explanation as why not delivered they would ring back. 90mins later having not heard anything I rang back. Only explanation was courier off sick. I eventually got call to say should be delivered in 2 days time. 7 working days after ordered. Let's see if arrives
