Paint ordered on 18th March and payment taken same day. No sign of paint or any indication as to when it might arrive. No delivery or DHL reference to follow up. Disgusted with this dreadful attitude which I am now referring to Trading Standards. Covid19 is no excuse for fraud or mismanagement of customers.

Worst ever website. NO PRODUCTS TO VIEW OR BUY!!! Come on, you can do better than that! I've done to Wickes or B&Q instead who have proper websites with descriptions and prices.

Ordered on the 26th March with a lead time of 1-7 days still hasn’t arrived although payment has been taken! I anticipated that it would take longer due to the current situation but this is now a joke. I’ve rang and emailed and get no reply. Will never use maxwells again!!

I was told the item was sent via dhl ( very late), then asked for tracking number , where i got a reply that item wasnt sent. Not a very trustworthy company. Still waiting for the item...... two weeks after the order

I ordered a product on March 25, and it still hasn't been delivered as of April 4. I understand these are difficult times, but I haven't received a single reply to any of my e-mails querying when this product might be delivered, nor do you answer the phone or reply to Facebook messages. If you can't fulfill orders in a reasonable timeframe - and I am taking COVID-19 into account - you shouldn't accept people's money.

Excellent Product. Good Coverage. Good Waterproofing due to elements of elasticity and plastic/rubbery-like flexibility. One of the few outlets in the UK to stock the shade we wanted, and priced better than all others. Bought in bulk but with very reasonable delivery charge (economy 3-5 days). Transaction process and tracking all very smooth. 5% discount offer on future orders. Just about to order again - but had forgotten to leave a review and so I am doing it now. Paid by Paypal and from start to finish all went well - very satisfied and recommend Maxwells to all.

For years l was a customer at B&Q Washington, then l found Maxwells at Birtley. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the products are priced to sell. Well done to the staff at the Birtley store, you now have a loyal customer.

Great product and reasonable price. Did have damage when arrived. Sent email but no response. So only assume can't be bothered with after sales

Can only describe them as hopeless. Item due between 22 to 24 November, worktop leg required for a kitchen refit to support breakfast bar. Chased by email 24/11 and 25/11 and no response to either. Spent 32 minutes waiting on the phone 25/11 to be told there are none in stock, should've received an email to advise me etc etc and will arrange a refund. Had to go out to my local Wickes to buy chrome instead of the brushed nickel we expected, needless to say it doesn't match the kitchen, but at least the job got finished.
