“Quite difficult to use unless you are accessing the software on a regular basis.
I wanted a map with a defined scale on it, which is the basic requirement of most people.
I discovered what I wanted about it took more time, then I really had to spare.
I also had a problem with downloading a file suitable for CAD as the programme seemed to want to load it directly into a cad system and not just into a file which my cad could then pick up.”
“We've been using Promap for over 10 years. They're web site was down all this long weekend and our client urgently needed our information. So I tried Map Serve - it was easier to use and cheaper. I wont go back to Promap”

“I'm an architect and use MapServe for our base OS plans. We used to use another arvice but Mapserve offers so much more optional infomation as part of the OS. The tree layer and levels are especially useful when site infomation is limited.”
