“Brilliant, thank you Paul and Jake. I love my new Time ADHX45. It was well worth the journey from South Wales. I really value the fact that my bike had been built with great skill and attention to detail. And that it has been customised to my requirements rather than those of the marketing dept of some large bike company. I wish you every success and hope that a lot more cyclists see the sense in adopting your custom approach to bike buying.”

“Grease applicator set appears to be of good quality. The follow up to my initial enquiry was prompt and helpful, and I was able to order once item was back in stock. “Super experience from start to finish with Time Alpe D’Huez X Ultegra Di2 build. Great communication with Madeline iterating spec and sorting timing for bike fit/pick up. Video bike fit with Paul to sort positioning before final build. Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable in the shop. Also, I would say that the quality of the build itself was very high (i.e. standard of bar tape wrap, cable management, lever positioning etc.). Clearly a lot of focus on details that other lesser bike shops just don’t do. I travelled from Edinburgh but well worth it for the level of service and the end product. Plus, got it through Cycle To Work which Mapdec support.”

“Ordered a bikone 386/evo bb late afternoon, received the next day! Can’t ask for anymore than that! NB the instructions for pressing are buried on the Bikone website. For the Evo you must use drifts that are the size of the cups 30/46mm, do not use drifts the size of the bearings outer race.”

“Long live the independent local bike shop !! Yes, Mapdec offers a fantastic workshop and brilliant bespoke advice when considering buying a new bike. However, when I recently had an IT issue with my Wahoo Kickr and home WiFi connection. Paul was more than happy to help me with the required upgrade to my Kickr and to offer practical help with my PC system and the WiFi connection. Brilliant !!”

“Apart from a small mixup with delivery, the Sevice I received from Mapdec was excellent. In a discussion with Paul I was given sound advice, prior to making the purchase. He was able to offer me a competative price for the wheelset. Since receiving them, they are excellent.”

“Work was all carried out fine and within timeframe suggested. Front mudguard was missing when I collected bike. Also front suspension very hard to compress, too much air in it. Would have been a five star if it wasn't for these points.”
