Its around delivery. Said 3 to 5 days delivery got email to delivered on the 6th day. Then at the end of 6th day got email to say wont be delivered until monday which is 9th day. Then box had fragile on it but box was heavily squashed at one end. Have left voicemail on customer service number to say so incase when my electrician fits them they do not work..

The lamps and batteries were sent promptly however the batteries had only half their charge except for one that was fully charged. I emailed requesting replacements but have not received a response

I was pleased with all the service, except the slow delivery which I felt took too long for a small package. There was also some confusion over the arrival of an invoice when I had paid by paypal

Unfortunately, all the items were not delivered the following day even though a next day delivery surcharge had been paid and I had to wait until after the weekend to receive the full order. Understandably, this was a disappointment and inconvenience as I had scheduled the use of the item on the day of anticipated delivery. However, in Lyco's favour, the next day delivery surcharge was refunded.

Was disappointed that for such a relatively small parcel that would have gone through our letterbox, we had to be in when DPD delivered, having to change the original delivery date.

Our carriers, DPD, notify customers by text and email of a hour delivery window.   At this point customers have the opportunity to nominate a safe place for the package to be left, choose leave with a neighbour or collect from a DPD pick up shop.  These options were available to you so it is puzzling why you did not avail of them thus negating the need for you to stay in. In addition these options are preferable to pushing fragile light bulbs through a letter box to drop on the floor and perhaps getting stood on inadvertently.  Thank you for taking the time to comment. Placed the order based on an overnight delivery offer (cost £5.99).The first delivery promise was for delivery on Thursday this then changed to Friday. No delivery on Friday so I contacted Lycos and a very helpful lady established that there would be no delivery until Saturday. Received a text on Saturday that delivery would be between 12.45 and 13.45, the delivery actually turned up at 17.40. A very poor performance. Lycos should consider changing their carrier. The light was for my daughter who I was meeting on Saturday so the delivery was too late, she lives 120 miles away.

Ordered 2 office strip lights, one arrived damaged and the other faulty, the first replacement was also damaged. Finally got 2 good ones but a bit of hassle getting there. Returns dept very helpful.

Delivery was quick and the product well protected. The odd thing was that it wasn't what I ordered - I ordered the older square edged Dimplex heater, but what I got was the new one (a more curved style) which wasn't particularly what I wanted, but it still does the job so not a real problem.

Lyco's service is excellent. But they were let down by the service of FedEx! The parcel finally arrived two days after it was promised, and then the box was damaged although the lamps themselves were undamaged.

Delivered on time and in good order. Problem with contacting after purchase but sorted difficulty myself. It may have been different if I hadn't been able to resolved the problem as I got no reply to my request for help.

in the future if you do not stock a product or run out of stock you should with us to see if we would accept a similar product
