“the actual service was ok but it did take 3 days with an apology but unfortunatly the plug socket joint do not quite match and I will need am electrician to attempt to sort out. So although the numbers etc match on paper they do not in practice so all in all not a success. I am on old lady who does not need the hassle so it was a mistake by time I pay the electrician as well etc. etc..”

“The goods arrived as promised....slight damage to one of the light clips holding the diffuser. However the diffuser has hardly any weight to it and 2 of the 3 clips did the job.”

“The ordering was mostly very good but let down by neither recognising my account nor letting me create a new one. It took far more effort to place the order than to research and select the product I needed. Delivery was quick and efficient.”

“The service from Lyco was excellent - the product arrived on the date specified The product however, isn't quite so good - there are no actual instructions for installing this item, only a load of pictures that aren't wonderfully clear. I have yet to install this product as I need to drill some holes in my brickwork first”

“Disappointed that the item was not in stock for so long and the failure to keep me in informed. Once I had established contact to chase the item the lady who dealt with the matter was most helpful and redeemed the experience. The light is now installed and works well and the quality of the finish is good. Obviously it is too soon to comment on durability.”

“My confirmation order email said the expected delivery date would be the 27th Feb. The goods did not arrive till 6th March”

“There were hold ups in the delivery of my item, which I understand is sometimes unavoidable; however, I did not receive a courtesy call to inform me of the delay and instead had to ring your company myself to find out what was going on with my late delivery.”

“The lights were fine, and arrived quickly. I had to order two lots however, because I used the 'contact us' message service on the website to enquire if the newer version of the lights would fit the my old fittings, I never received a response. I still haven't. So eventually I ordered one light to check if it fitted (£3.99 delivery charge), and when to my delight it did fit, I ordered 4 more (another £3.99 delivery).”

“lights arrived promptly when ordered but when opened they were slightly damaged. As we needed to use these at time of opening we had no other option than to use the damaged lights.”

“Damaged goods, had to get a full refund, no hassle with this, but disappointing as this has happened before. Somebody needs to check items before they are dispatched.”

“The units have a slim modern appearance, but the lights do not come on and stay on from dusk to dawn (maybe not enough sunlight yet in daytime, to power them?) and the functioning of the sensor-operated lights is proving erratic, though they are quite bright. Delivery was quick but very careless by FedEx; the driver failed to ring the doorbell and just threw the package over the bolted side gate and pushed a delivery note through the letter box having written 'back door' on the back of it!”

“Although the bulbs were fine and delivery was quick the van driver literally threw the box on the floor. The box was very bashed as a result and we were fortunate they didn't break.”
