“I have used them before and everything was o.k. This time I had trouble with the website that caused the bank to stop payment and then had to be issued with new card. No feedback from Lyco as to what the problem was, just know someone hacked into getting my card details but this was the only site I used it on that day.”

Lyco can assure you we take security very seriously NO credit card information is stored on any of our systems, all credit card information communicated securely under HTTPS and card information is held in the customers browser session prior to being transmitted securely again via HTTPS on to SagePay for authentication. All data is stored on our Host Server and is password protected to ensure no unauthorised access is possible. In addition, our website is secured by 'SSL Secured (128 bit) Encryption' system. All credit/debit card transactions are only processed when the order has reached our Host Server and not directly from the website. Furthermore, the charging of all credit/debit card transactions only takes places at the point of dispatch of your order and not on receipt of it. “Product ordered one day, in early evening, notification of dispatch the next am. Gigantic box arrived am the next day holding 5 650mm long bulbs well protected with shredded style padding. I'm happy so far, have bookmarked the company.”

“Good quick purchase. Not so sure about the quality of the products eg one candle LED bulb failing after a few moths. Another still going strong. Other sporadic failures of "energy saving bulbs" Have started labeling bulbs when installed The replacement purchsed below (18W screw) is to replace a similar one failed after approx 3000 hours”

Mr Fisher thank you for leaving your feedback, we do take all feedback seriously and use it to improve our service and products in the future. We will look into the returns rate of products that customers complain about and if the returns rate is at an unacceptable level we will speak with the manufacturer to get the problem resolved. All of our products come with a warranty to please contact our Customer Services department in the future and they will be more than happy to offer a replacement should the item fail within the warranty period. “They were very prompt in despatching, very helpful with my query about the method of diespatching, in view of the postal strikes. Their dispatch department got a bit muddled - they put the name of a neighbour on the label, as well as my own - caused a bit of confusion on signing for the DHL driver!”

“From a customer service perspective Lyco are great but the description of the items I purchased, Luceco FType 6W Dimmable Warm White LED Fire Rated Downlight, is not quite correct. The lamps don't dim properly using lightwave RF dimmer packs, and a false load needs to be added to stabilise them and stop flickering. This added load obviously negates any power saving there was to be made. This stopped a 5 star rating.”
