Delivery was quick and the product well protected. The odd thing was that it wasn't what I ordered - I ordered the older square edged Dimplex heater, but what I got was the new one (a more curved style) which wasn't particularly what I wanted, but it still does the job so not a real problem.

Good pack price - cheaper than Screwfix, but charged for delivery, which could be avoided with going to Screwfix locally. Delivery longer than expected, given that it was charged for. Have used Lyco in the past, but will consider prices carefully.

I found the ordering experience confusing and ended up with some things that I don't think I ordered.

All OK but their only dispatch option is via FedEx which increases the price. Would be good if they offered 2nd Class mail option as it'd be cheaper and a good alternative if there's no hurry to receive items. Also, 1 item was missing from the consignment so requested a refund - which I received promptly.

Lyco seem to be a great company but they us DPD for deliveries and DPD are absolutely hopeless and caused a one week delay in the delivery of my goods.

Hmm.. OK, Bulbs came is 2 separate consignments, very irritating as I couldn't put up the garden lights straightaway and that was the whole point!

I had issues with DPD the courier. I wasn't going to be in when they scheduled the delivery so I asked for the delivery to a local shop - this was accepted and then later rejected with no reason. It took two further attempts to deliver before I finally received the package

The ordering was mostly very good but let down by neither recognising my account nor letting me create a new one. It took far more effort to place the order than to research and select the product I needed. Delivery was quick and efficient.

Although I am extremely happy with the lights I bought and the speed at which they arrived, I am very disappointed with the poor customer service I received when ringing up to add extra items to my order. Neither of the two women I spoke to answered the phone with a polite ?hello how can I help?. Their tone was basically I can?t be bothered and it was a chore for them to search for an item code as I only had the product name to hand. I used to work in customer service and I?d be seriously disciplined if I had their attitude. Sort it out Lyco!

Wrong lamp supplied. Was told I'd have to pay return postage. Declined as postage could exceed value.

There were hold ups in the delivery of my item, which I understand is sometimes unavoidable; however, I did not receive a courtesy call to inform me of the delay and instead had to ring your company myself to find out what was going on with my late delivery.

I ordered 12 light bulbs. They work fine. However, the small SES candle bulbs came in a box big enough to hold hundreds of these bulbs. And the empty space was then packed with plastic bubble wrapping. Not impressed with this amount of packing wastage.

For orders online LYCO is good but I tried many times to contact the sale many time by phone or e mail because I need some items for demonstration outside UK but no response

I made two separate purchase and delivery time was excellent for both. However I had a technical query regarding the first delivery received on 4 June and have made numerous phone calls, left numerous voicemails, sent emails but I still haven?t received a response after 4 weeks. My second purchase was a necessary because I was tired of waiting for a response to my query. I suppose you got another sale but you have also got a dissatisfied customer.

The ordering and delivery were speedy and efficient - however, when I opened the parcel, I discovered that instead of "daylight" bulbs, I had been sent "cold white" which I do not want. I telephoned your office and spoke to a helpful lady, who promised to resolve the problem and arrange for the correct order to be despatched. Nothing has happened so far. The bulbs I received are unopened and awaiting collection. Michael Wells

I paid an Electrician £40 to install the light and it seemed ok when he left but it will never come on straight away but takes several minutes to come on trying both switches in the kitchen as we are both in our eighties and disabled it is very dangerous is it a fault with it what can we do
