Sadly not a great experience. The product/packing/delivery were great but the customer service was shocking. I placed the order and within a couple of minuets I had realised that the wrong size of light had been ordered. I phoned the customer service number twice only to be cut off, so I sent an email to the customer service email (11 minuets after placing the order) asking them to cancel and explained why. Heard nothing back from them till an email late the night informing me that the item was being dispatched :-( The parcel arrived, I phoned customer services about returning the item explained that I had tried to contact them and had received nothing back.. I asked who would be paying the return costs, I was asked to forward the email to the chap.. AGAIN heard nothing back from them. The next day I got an email explaining how to return. I asked AGAIN who was paying for this and the response I got was this " I have consulted with the Team Member with whom you spoke and he has no recollection of agreeing to cancel the return charge as this would not be within his remit, or mine for that matter, it would have to be referred to my Line Manager." I never received a response from this person so of course he wouldn't remember speaking with me about this as it never happened!! "There is a very short window of literally seconds to cancel an order off the system" So basically you can't cancel an order even though I phoned minutes after placing the order and then followed up with an email 11 minutes after the order was placed.. there was no good will gesture.. nothing! Sometimes its not just about the product or price.. its the customer service you receive, its the way you are treated that makes you want to go back and order again. I will not be ordering from this company again.

The delivery was prompt and the process efficient, no problem. However I was horrified that such a small product was packaged in a box measuring 12inch x 9 inch 6 inch. Completely over the top, bad for the environment, and it is of course the customer who pays the cost for the waste. I'll be happy to use Lyco again, but if I receive packages like this again I'll switch to one of the many other suppliers available.

Service was prompt but no warning that the bulbs get HOT whilst in use.

light worked but defuser had a small crack (3- 4cm in it) too much hassle to return as need a new light asap

Good response, nicely packed - but shipping not delivered when promised by Hermes (Between 5-7 PM). Arrived the next day at 4PM

The parts I bought turned out to be made of very flimsy metal probably only 0.5mm thick. They were so flimsy that two of the fluorescent tube lamps were damaged and I had to panel beat them back into shape. If I had not had to finish this job then I would have sent them back.

I bought some outdoor lights & unfortunately when received the actual colour didn?t resemble the computer image. I contacted customer service as to how I could return the items as it wasn?t clear. They responded immediately with a link. DPD were the courier & there?s a ?drop off? point near to where I live, but a car journey, so inconvenient if you don?t drive and are not on a bus route. The drop off point is on a high street with no parking, so difficult if it?s a large item to carry, which mine is. I have to pay £5 to return the items which I?m hoping will be reimbursed? I?ve given this company 2 stars due to the drawn out process & inconvenience factor to return items. Most companies I?ve used, arrange collection for returns.

Order placed 11June. Still no goods delivered 21 June. Full address supplied and confirmed but allegedly incomplete address reason for no delivery.

The reason I have only given this item a two star rating is the connecting lead supplied is ridiculously short and makes fitting it very difficult and as it is an outside light the connection needs to be weather proof. There is no way to replace this lead into the unit so over all I wouldn't recommend it or buy it again

Paid for next day delivery only to receive two of the 12 lights I ordered. When I called they said they had no more in stock! Had to wait another 10 days for the rest of the order. The lady on the phone was less then helpful. Wouldn't purchase from again.

They sent 7 emails. There's keeping in touch and then there's intrusive spam messaging.

I chatted online with a sales person who advised me what to buy to solve my lighting problem. It just didn't. What he sold me is simply not bright enough. I am very disappointed. I'm also disappointed that the website said I had the buy the bulbs as well, but when the lights arrived they already had bulbs in so I've had to pay extra for 6 bulbs that are too dim and no use to me. Despite, the promises of next day delivery on the website, the parcel took 7 days to arrive and the lights didn't come with any instructions as how to join them together. I contacted Lyco who said they only do sales, not technical help. Altogether, a very disappointing experience and a total waste on money.

Good bright LED lights. Lights out of stock only shows when you come to order and hence delivery was very slow (2 weeks)

The light looks good but unfortunately it did not come with the halogen bulbs as mentioned in the website. I emailed you about this but got no response

Have not yet tested the light bulbs but a little concerned that you used an unnecessarily very large cardboard box for just 3 light bulbs that had totally ineffective packing protection (3 small pieces of bubble wrap), and that the cardboard box was not sealed so it could be easily opened by anyone transit.
