I am sorry to hear you were not happy with the quality of the 26206 it is a British made fitting and we have dealt with this company for many years and never had problems with quality before. I am very sorry for the extended lead time on this item unfortunately we were only informed of the delay by the manufacturer once the item should have been delivered and they could not give us a definite date as they were still waiting for the items to be ready. We always try to keep customers as advised as possible but were unable to give more information in this instance I apologies for this it is not how we like to operate. Thank you for your feedback, the lamps are given an estimated lifetime by the manufacturer this is based on a trial of 100 lamps when 50% have failed this is the approx lifetime given, so many will fail before the estimated time and many will last longer than this. We have sold these packs for a number of years and have had no real issues with them. Draper are a houshold name and you would expect a good quality product to have had 3 faulty in a pack is very disapppointing. “Lyco provide an excellent service. They are extremely efficient and their customer service is to be commended for the courteous and informative contact with the customer. I will have no hesitation in recommending the company to friends. Unfortunately in my case, the good work of Lyco was diminished somewhat by the sloppy approach of the carrier.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. The compact spirals are a tiny fluorescent tube and do take a moment or two to start the reaction that supplies the light, it can take 2/3 seconds to be up to full brightness and is normal for this type of lamp.
