“The sizing is consistent which makes online ordering easy. I'm anywhere between a 6 and 7 with other brands, but I'm always a 7 with Lotus. The value for money is excellent as the quality is always good and the shoes last well. The website is easy to navigate and informative - the only improvement would be to include images of the shoes with feet in them. There's something about the designs which flatteringly seem to make feet look smaller. I remember my first ever order - was convinced they'd sent the wrong size as they looked so small, but fitted perfectly!”

“Shoes looked lovely and fitted well. Unfortunately the metal links really rubbed on both feet in the same place. Very painful! However really liked the style and will keep them for wearing for very short distances only (once current wounds are healed!).”

“The fit is excellent and comfortable on these sandals, even on my large size 8 feet. They look quite good too. The materials however feel very cheap, especially the sole. It could also do with more tread and grip. The sandals are in a patent, glossy finish, which is not obvious in the photograph. I would have preferred a more luxury, less cheap feel to the sandals. They are though very comfy straight out the box.”

“Shoes I ordered did not fit very well ( not enough strap length compared to the length of the sole ). I wanted to return the sandals but learnt that I would need to cover the return cost myself ( having spent £4 on delivery I did not think this acceptable ). I would not order from Lotus on-line again.”

“The Santi sandals are very comfortable. My only criticism is the sizing system. I wanted a size 6 which is a Eur size 39. I ordered them from Debenhams originally because they had them reduced. But when the sandals came they showed size 6 on the label but the sandals were marked on the sole as 40, which is a Uk size 7. They were too large and as I thought it was an error I returned them and reordered another size 6, again they were a size 40. I contacted your website and was told that an Eur size of 39 was sold as a 5.5. I eventually managed to get the right size direct from you when you had reduced them. Very annoying time , cannot understand why your sizing system is not in line with other shoe retailers!!”

“Sorry but the sandal straps did not fit comfortably over my foot joints, disappointed a Lotus shoes usually a great fit for me. I have returned on Thursday to you. Nina Rennie”

“On wearing the shoes for one time only, I felt that they were not as comfortable as shoes I have purchased in the past. The front part of the shoes did not appear to be identical and therefore were uncomfortable to wear. I don't know if anything can be done about them but I am unhappy with the fit and will be unable to wear them again.”
