“I'll be honest: at first I was a bit skeptical the first time you do that without talking face to face with someone, but I said try what I have lost, I can say that I am not sorry for choosing done, I came across some people very understanding and patient to explain to me in detail every detail new to me, everything went very quickly, promptness is their strong point, James Wheatley my adviser was great from start to finish, mortgage I obtained easily without stress and without complications.”

“My friend recommended London and Country to me and at first I had my reservations when she told me it was a free service, but I am so glad that we used them. From start to finish the process was effortless with our Advisor doing all of the work for us. He was readily available and at the few times he wasn't we knew it wasn't long until he would get back to us. As first time buyers this made the whole process seem less daunting and more exciting! We would definitely recommend London and Country to anyone!”

“Was having a problem extending my interest only mortgage with my regular bank with whom I had an account for more than 20 years so I asked L&C to help. Within a day a I had an offer in principle and within a week or so a firm offer - at a better rate than my present mortgage and with cash back too. Great service.”

“This is the second re-mortgage that L&C have done for us on a rental property. On both occasions the service and deal that they came up for us has been first class. Adam Foden our advisor was very professional through out. Would recommend L&C to anyone.”

“My overall experience with London and Country has been excellent throughout. From the mortgage broker who found the most suitable mortgage for our requirements, to the most comprehensive and best value mortgage and home insurances. All brokers I have dealt with have been nothing but professional, helpful and friendly throughout. “The service provided by L&C was friendly, efficient and astonishingly FREE. The advisors replied to emails extremely promptly and always returned any voicemails left for them. Given how stressful dealing with solicitors, estate agents and chartered surveyors can be - I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of arranging my mortgage through L&C and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone else! “Second time I've used L&C and once again a very smooth process and a good deal that I wouldn't have been able to get off my own back. Also a lot of the legwork is done for you in terms of completing paperwork which is always a bonus. Highly recommended!”

“Whilst the initial advisor (Sid) was very good, the service after he handed me over went downhill! The service recieved by the mortgage handlers legal advisor was below standard, not to mention their online portal which took longer to log into than it did to actually find out the status of the case.”

“I am very impressed with the service that I have received from London & Country Mortgages. Unfortunately my property purchase recently fell through, but I found another property quite quickly. I contacted my mortgage advisor at L&C who found another very good mortgage deal for me. I could not be happier with the service that I have received to date.”

“I was told that my rental income and property valuation were more than sufficient to get the loan i wanted. After paying £700 for a valuation with BM it so ensued that if both rental income and property valuation were below expectation then BM would decrease borrowings. I was never told this and when I asked the L&C consultant he said "you didn't ask". I wrote a complaint and still am waiting for a response. I did a lot of business with L&C and have found that it has really gone downhill..perhaps when it expanded it took regional offices where the staff are just not good enough and frankly arrogant and prejudice.”

“Really poor experience, offered really bad advice refused a mortgage twice, which took almost 2 months. Almost meant the house sale falling through. Went to another broker offered a mortgage within 2 weeks with no problems. Wouldn't use again.”

“initial contact with Anna was great -she was very helpful, i even recommended someone to her. Once the broker, Ross had been assigned he didn't really make much contact, took a day or 2 to get back emails. The solicitors were amazing Premier Property Lawers 10/10 for them. Yes i would use again.”
