Daniel Pitman was great i have used him for a few years now. He always returns my calls and emails and spends time talking things over with me. He may not find me the best deal out there to the public but he finds the best deal that you guys can offer from the people u can use. And for the hassle he saves me i always go with him. But the person who dealt with me after him not so good Joanna Sartain . She always forgot to call me and update me on things some times causing delays. She didn't seem to know much about what she was meant to be doing and i ended up getting really fed up with her so went back to calling Daniel knowing it was not his job but he still helped me. The people that was chosen for the morg this time are good but i have had nothing but hassle with there solicitors, There rude on the phone never call me back or return my emails. My morg has been transferred over since 1.4.2016 yet i am still waiting for my money that i am owed. Can i get an answer from the solicitor NO is the answer. Due to all this hassle i will not be using you again and do my remortgage my self as it's been hell using you this time. Thanks Rachel Jones

L&C contacted us to see if we wanted a new fixed rate deal when the last deal came to an end. The first advisor who we spoke with was not very good. We found a better deal ourselves via our bank. We wanted his help with filling in the forms but he did not progress the matter so we gave up. Once the last deal ended and we realised that L&C had left us in the lurch, we contacted them again and spoke with another advisor who was very helpful; found us a great deal and it was all sorted out in no time at all. Pity that the first advisor wasn't that good!

I applied two Mortgages with L&C. Residential mortgage perfectly handle by Advisor but unfortunately BLT mortgage is not handle correctly. For BLT wrong lander is recommended to me and unfortunately BLT mortgage is refused. My personal advise to L&C that L&C advisors should have great knowledge of products. I feel that advisor do not have enough knowledge on different product.

New recommended solicitors aren't good at communicating, I never really new what was going on. Had to call them to find out if we had completed. (Gordens were better)

Overall positive but I did need to chase up a good few times for confirmation that the process was running smoothly. A few times I was asked for something, so I sent it, but no confirmation was sent that it had been recieved. Also, I had emails from at least 4 different people - it would have been easier dealing with 1 but i understand that this is probably hard. Also, on the day on exchanging contracts, the 2 main people who I had contact with were on elave

Generally good but found the request for bank account details frustrating and unclear as to how to provide details from on line. Also slow responses at times with messages unanswered. However overall satisfied with outcome.

I have used London & Country mortgages on previous occasions and have found them to be good with good service however on this occasion my first dealings with an adviser named Louise was very good, but then i was given a case manager named David to deal with and his service was very poor, I could not get hold of him most of the time, and as a customer I found I was spending time chasing him trying to make contact and phoning to clarify things associated with my mortgage application. I usually made contact with him but only after tracking him down through Louise, the company would have received a much better review from myself if I did not have to have a case manager.

My initial contact was with a mortgage advisor grant Bilton who was extremely helpful & efficient. However I then got assigned (I'm not sure why) to a case manager Gemma o'connell who was useless. It took me 2 weeks of emailing her to chase the mortgage deed, in the end I contacted grant who sorted it in minutes. Initially completion of my remortgage was set for 1st Nov but it has taken so long to sort out it looks like it will be 1st Jan. I have never remortgaged before & felt I was not kept informed of what was happening or the process.

Very helpful in the initial process of finding a mortgage, but very frustrating trying to speak directly to my adviaor and administration after that. While saying that, I did recomend L&C to a friend as the advisor was excellent.

All over all is normal. I have asked L&C for two mortgages. Mortgage advisor did good job on residential mortgage. All done is good time. But when It comes to BLT mortgage, he messed up things. It clearly shows that he has lack of knowledge on the BLT products and applied mortgage to wrong lender (without clearly checking the requirement from lender) and as a results, lender refused the BLT mortgage. Overall service is good is good on residential but poor service on BLT mortgage.
