“Was pleased with the quality of surveyors who contacted me. However, it was unnecessary for the website to request them to contact me as well as provide their contact details as naturally I emailed them, and hence unknowingly duplicated my request for quotes!”

“Didn't like the fact my details were sent to everyone that supplied a quote and the quoted price wasn't ever the actual price. I was bombarded within in minutes of using you site- very annoying!”

“For a price comparsion site, this is rough around the edges, I found surveyors which matched my requirement. But I would of expected quotes to be instantly available, I understand this may not be possible with some more complex queries - but a large number of requests could be profiled with an indication to cost. Also its hightly annoying that there is no contact preference (email, phone or text), as most surveyors seem to prefer contact by phone but while in work getting repeated phone calls on your mobile is not ideal. For an online service, I would expect an email from the surveyors detailing his experience, insurance, estimated quote and contact details so I can phone back when convenient.”

“I would have given 5 stars for the initial email stating local surveyors, however I was not expecting to be bombarded with emails and phone calls immediately after, because of this I will not be contacting any of the people on the list, it was my intention to contact surveyors in my own time, not to be hounded in this way!”

“Since I used your site my inbox started to be filled with unsolicited e-mails. Could you please let me know how on Earth do you think it is ok to plant my personal address like that. If you cannot do business in a different way, maybe you are not meant to exist.”

“Gave very quick summary of prices, however only surveyors that cover the area that I am interested in, not local which I prefer so have gone on personal recommendation instead.”

“The list of local contractors is very good but the responses from the Companies that you give my details to have offered generic quotations for Structural surveys when my description clearly stated I need a more specific inspection and advise. I guess thats the companies fault for not reading my information so they will end up not getting the project. Not your fault. Thanks Rod”

“The website was excellent. Easy to navigate and questions led to outcome looked for However I did not appreciate that all the businesses identified as relevant and local would all respond by email with quotes which was overwhelming. I would have preferred to have controlled any further contact with the identified businesses myself and not to have had my email box flooded with unwanted individual responses. Thank you”

“You are asking for feedback too early- as you cannot be separated from the service your people supply. The top two did ring me almost immediately however - faster than "rated people" and I picked one. If they are rubbish I COULD NOT HELP BUT BLAME YOU HOWEVER- SO ASK LATER!”

“Initial web contact didnt lead to what i wanted ie i wanted specific defect report, not as offered full survey and buyer survey report. But follow up contact with individual survey let to result. Disappointed was not offered local surveyer ie BA15 area. thank you”
