In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“I talked personally to two guys out of five that suited my location. Three of them, that I left a messages for, never called me back even to let me know that they are not interested in the job. I choose one of the two that I talked to. That is the reason I chose - Normal - even though their ignoring me has nothing to do with you and the information you provided. Thank you.”

“I am not impressed with the service I got from the company used. Structured Environment . They agreed my report will be ready Wednesday lunch time . At 1pm when I rang they said it wasn't ready as they were short staffed due to colleagues on holiday . Surely holidays are pre booked someone must have known Thursday afternoon staff situation for following week. This is now 10am 24 hours after promised delivery still awaiting report You will agree with me from a customer's perspective,it isn't a good service”

“Every reply I received was professional. they all gave verysimilar advice, one major point being look for a surveyor that is local and knows the area, sadly everyone that gave me quote was based over 150 miles away, maybe my definition of local differs from the legal one.”

“Of the five architect businesses listed I have received a contact from one only, which was a bit of a disappointment. However I have got back to that person /company and have had made an appointment for a survey to be carried out.”

“I was put through to the Local Surveyors Direct website by entering a request on the Home Owners Alliance website for potential surveyors for a property purchase. Having made my choice and having found the chosen surveyor's website I was able to arrange a survey very quickly over the phone. I was then contacted by 5 or 6 of the other potential surveyors listed by email or by phone as they sought my business. I think this should not happen. It is disturbing that they should have access to my contact details (especially phone number) and pester me when I have made my choice of surveyor. For that reason, although the service provided is useful and worked for me, I am not happy about the knock-on effect.”

“The issue I had was that I wanted quotes for a home buyers survey specifically and was contacted by surveyors who didn't do RICs accredited Home Buyers surveys. Which was a massive waste of my time.”
