“It was good to be able to get an idea of what is on offer for the region but I was looking for something specific and all i got was quotations for house surveys. I also received a curtesy call from one - not a big issue but unexpected.”

“Within sixty seconds you will start getting calls and emails. That personally was not what I wanted as some were very persistant”

“I have been contacted by two of the companies but they are not particularly local to us so I have not taken it any further yet. I may do if I can’t find a more local contact - but for a small extension we would prefer someone close by.”

“I got really helpful quotes very quickly. My only complaint is that I received about 9 phone calls the next morning and as many emails too. I don't mind the emails but your quote list was detailed enough for me to get started and I felt like the calls were overkill.”

“I was very disappointed with my first experience of seeking advice from an Architect. He was only in it for the money, wanting a significant amount of cash put into his bank account before ANY discussions had taken place on site or any work had been done with respect to drawings etc. I very politely told him he was out of order and started the search again. I now have three Acountants visiting me next week and after I have swapped ideas, made thumbnail drawings etc, I will choose who to go with for the project.”

“The immediate and quick results were fantastic although now I am being bombarded on my mobile and email by building surveyors! It is already a busy time moving house so perhaps if the suppliers could calm down on this element it would help. :)”

“By facilitating a communication online, unfortunately this led to the inevitable 'follow up!' call which means I wouldn't pursue any of the companies put forward. Too pushy.”

“It did not seem possible to ask for a survey on a particular part of my house. I am not moving but have a problem with the rear wall of my house. There was not an option that I could find for my requirements as I do not understand some of the options on your site.”

“I completed the form, and was subsequently inundated with contacts from surveyors in the region because I had generated a sales lead. While I was still digesting what steps were next my email was on fire with contacts and pressure to commit and progress with each. Overall a little to salesy for me... I like a minute to think it through without being pressed, so I found it slightly off-putting.”
