In addition to domestic property we also provide a comprehensive range of services for commercial property. These services are provided over the whole of the United Kingdom by a comprehensive network of suppliers which has been steadily built up since the website first started operating in 2005.

“I have left a telephone message with one surveyor and am awaiting response. The other three that have contacted me will be held in reserve meanwhile. Their responses were excellent. Thank you.”

“I emailed two electricians and had replies within an hour or so. Delighted with results. They answered questions and gave me a rough estimate of how much it would cost my son to do the job.”

“Really impressed how quickly the list of architects was sent and then 50% made contact with us the next day. We have been trying for ages to find an architect for a small Job, so many just don't return calls. I would recommend this site as a first place to start.”

“Electrician turned up on same day. He was helpful. He said he needed to order some items to do the job. He told us that he would contact us once the items have arrived but this has not happened yet. I have gave a rating as normal due to the fact he has not rang us to tell us when he will do the job or if the items have arrived.”

“Excellent service. I was at a loss where/how to find a suitable architect for the job I needed. i could only find big firms with big prices online. This service gave me a list of people who were exactly what I needed. I contacted 3 of them and had responses from all immediately. Thank you.”

“helpful and very quick. One surveyor wrote to me immediately Did you tell all on list that I was enquiring. Only problem was that estimate charge was for a general survey of a single property. We wanted a building surveyor to inspect this 44 flats block - write a specification for its Exterior Decoration and repairs and get tenders - then loosely oversee the work. Perhaps you are able to recommend such a firm? Frances Bouchier”

“I really didn't know where to start with trying to organise a building survey so I turned to Google and discovered Local Surveyors Direct where I was able to enter my requirements and received 5 competitive quotes very quickly. I was then contacted by the companies directly who I found to be very helpful. Their prices were significantly cheaper than using the services of my mortgage provider and the opportunity to discuss requirements directly before going ahead was really useful. I have now selected one of the companies.”

“Although I found your site helpful, I was not prepared to be inundated with 'phone calls and e-mails. When We are ready we will contact a surveyor but don't want to be pestered, especially when we are in the early stages of the house sale/purchase.”
