“It's brilliant. I had been looking for a surveyor. The quotes were so varied & expensive for the same service. So iI tried Local surveyors Direct, and came up trumps straight away. I found a local independent Surveyor. Received a reasonable quote. Work done and complete within a couple of weeks.”

“I got two people phone me and they were very helpful and listened to what I had to say which is very good for me because I have a speech inpediment because of having cancer. The first one gave me a price and the seconded one advised me to double check my plug and I did and low and behold I found the problem so I didn't need them to come out and it saved me money. I'm very grateful for the advice from the second caller, his name was Steve, I can't remember the company but I would do this again if I wanted any thing done.”

“This comparison site is very good for getting a selection of quick quotes to help make a decision. I did have an issue with one of the Your Survey Ltd who contacted me offering a cheaper than average quote. I went with them as I figured a Homebuyers Survey is a standard product BUT when I received their terms and conditions to agree to I simply didn't understand them as the initial page seemed to contradict what was said further in the document. I called to clarify and although the lady on the phone was nice she had no idea of what any of it meant as she was sales. She called her manager and the actual surveyor Farrell Mills but when she came back to me the message was that the terms and conditions are standard, it's what they'd been using for 15 years so either I sign them (despite not understanding them) or they would refund my fee. Needless to say I requested the refund. Since then I've instructed Bernice Robinson, an independent surveyor who I've spoken to directly on the phone to understand what I'm paying and so far I'm happy. Moral of my tale is Local Surveyors Direct is fab! Your Survey and Farrell Mills are absolutely not!!”
