“I found this site to be ok. It gave me a list of surveyors and contact numbers also prices. I received a telephone call the following day and the surveyor gave me an epc certificate which cost £45.”

“I haven't been in the position of buying/selling a house for quite a few years and didn't know much about the requirement for an EPC certificate. My estate agent advised me to search online as it was likely I'd get a better price for the survey than one which they would arrange - nice not to be ripped off! My search returned lots of results, many for individual surveyors and also the Local Surveyors Direct comparison site. Literally minutes after I'd entered my details online, I received a call from a local surveyor who offered a very competitive price and who was able to carry out the survey at my convenience the following day.”

“It would appear that surveyor actual availability is going to be a bigger issue than price, though price probably drives that availability. My first choice was not available until next February when I need a survey in the next two weeks. I await a response from my second choice.”

“There is one that had got back to me and we agreed and already booked the date very for surveyor both the agency and as now I can not say too much but it is a positive start and efficient and professional service so far but i would rather keep the feed back and comment when it is all done and complete which I believe it is reasonable and appropriate to do so when the job is done. Thanks”
