“I wanted something very specific - a damp survey. Instead I got a series of approaches related to overall surveys and even conveyancing requests. I tried to stop during the process realising that what I would get is not what I had input, but to no avail. So I have a swamped in box and lots of incoming calls”

“I received 5 quotes - all quick responses. However, the idea was to find a competitive price but all of the quotes received were way more expensive than one I had sourced myself previously. It might be good for some services, but for beam calculations it certainly wasn't.”

“Good to be provided with local plumbing firms. However, would have preferred to have researched these at my leisure. Instead, I had one of the firms phoning me within minutes of receiving the results touting his business. Another emailed me shortly after. This was annoying and has put me off using your service in the future.”

“This company tate design and build you sent me is fake.5 fake addresses , not register as architect,fake reviews and 3 different person share the same profile and name as a director of the company Ahmed Talaat in Linkedin Completely a con I won't do business with u anymore. You need to check if they are registered , don't take companies on board for the sake of it.”

“I had been advised that this website would help me obtain relevant information to help me in a dispute with a neighbour but the website was only concerned with putting me in touch with builders. In other words, it was only to advance the interests of builders not the general public..”

“Its not the site which is poor, the site is excellent but I needed an electrician to do a safety check and it returned 5 results and non of the electricians came back to me after contact. This is very poor. I, therefore, found someone to do the work using good old boring Google.”

“The surveyor I contacted from the list I was provided had no idea how they were on this site as they do not advertise with third parties, price quoted was way out as well, by over £200 - do not get your hopes up if using this site!”

“Not very good at local architects for me. My area is Harlow. I used trust a trader instead and found more local companies than this site.”

“Misleading. Said I would get quotes but actually just got a load of people contacting me. It was to appeal planning decision, so something companies could just quote for and thought it would reduce hassle of contacting companies individually but not the case so waste of time”
