My first experience with lighting Direct was not a good one. Having ordered 4 single spotlights, i received two packages. One with a correct spotlight and the other with three incorrect spotlights. I rang as soon as they arrived and was told the three replacements would be sent out immediately. I had to chase this up 4 days later as they never arrived and was told they were out of stock and would be with me in a week. The very next day 2 spotlights turned up. But not the third. I rang again and was told there was a issue with the system and one would be sent the next day and this dis arrive. I had already arranged an electrician based on the first promise and he could only fit the one correct light and got re-charged for the fitting of the three lights. As i say not a very good first experience

Stop using my Myhermes for delivery. They left my parcel in the road outside my house and forged my signature to say I?d signed for its receipt.

The order was incomplete, then they delivered the missing part but not to the delivery address I gave as delivery address.

Terrible. My lights were originally marketed as 'next day' delivery but after chasing lighting direct,4 times they arrived nearly 2 months later. An awful customer experience. Don't use!

Yes easy get a better courier then Hermes Ian still awaiting my solar powered lamp post I've had 2 dates with time slots no shows both times more than 9,200 have signed up to the Hermes complaints group on Facebook yes when iam going to get the goods I've paid for?

After ordering on line and paying the extra to have ordered delivered in two days, the order did not arrive on the day it was supposed to, after numerous phone calls to try and get through to the number provided I was told both the items had gone missing at Hermes and that they would send out a new order only to find out that the items I wanted were now both out of stock, not impressed with this first attempt to use your company although I was very impressed by Trish the lady who tried to help me out she was very pleasant, I an still waiting on my money to be refunded?

Difficult to comment on the product as I have not received it. Seems to be stuck in transit. Tried to call Lighting Direct but could not get through. E -mailed to tel them delivery issue but have not received a response.

I paid for next day delivery and only received the cables and no spotlights which defeated the object of next day delivery as I could not fit the lights. I am still waiting for the spot lights 5 days later.

I ordered £100's worth of lighting and connectors from your website and whats been sent does not match up. the connectors do not connect to the lights, ive been sent 3 different sizes of things despite ordering exactly what comes up on your website to go with the lights ive ordered. I have called customer services many times and get an answer phone message. there are no instructions for returning the wrong items and now I'm stuck with workmen waiting to install the lights but I don't have the right connecteors and cant get though to anyone to fix the problem.

Respond to customer complaint. Have ordered before and never had this problem but has put me off ordering again (and a shame because the last person I spoke to actually dealt with the problem - but then the lights arrived far to late and had to pay an Electrican a fee for cancelling job) company should have offered compensation but nothing!

Was happy with the product but the delivery service was terrible, they left the cardboard box outside behind one of our cars which got drenched, we only discovered it by chance on the Sunday, there was no note to say where the box was.

I was disappointed to read that you had such a bad experience with regard to the delivery of your purchases. We work very closely with our contracted carriers to ensure our customers receive excellent service, and in the main receive very positive feedback regarding their efficiency. It seems however that this was not the case for you and for that I apologise. I have contacted the carriers and requested an investigation take place without delay. Terrible customer experience. Attempted delivery to wrong address and then was told this was my fault despite it being clear the issue was on their system. Called to discuss issue and was met by a very adversarial, unapologetic call handler who said I was unable to cancel the order. Would not use again.

I understand your frustration however your order was placed on-line and as such all the information regarding the delivery address was provided by you at that time.  If you check the order confirmation sent at the time your transaction was processed exactly as per those details.   Our system is totally automated therefore on-line orders go straight through to dispatch as per the on-line transaction with no intervention by us.  The order cannot be cancelled as such as it is out with FedEx for delivery again today as explained, however we can attempt to get it re-routed back to us and as promised this is what is being done currently.  Once it is received back at  our warehouse we can then arrange for the item to be refunded.  I am sorry that you do not feel your experience was as it should have been however every attempt was made to explain why the delivery was attempted at the address it was and what could be done to reach a resolution. All good in terms of delivery purchase etc. But the lights don't appear to be working, I am at liberty to say I didn't read any instruction and shall do so at my earliest convenience.
